The girl who dyes the yarn has a hubby in the Navy.
I showed the yarn to Fireman this morning and I was nothing short of squealing...

Fireman said "It's yarn honey"
"that's all I see"

and to top off the Birthday week:

MY friend Linda's dogs came to my birthday party and Lucy had a little accident.  Linda Sent me this the next day:

Ohhhhhh...I am swooning over that yarn. It looks so, so, well, SQOOSHY!

Lucy looks appropriately shamed.

The yarn looks lovely! Enjoy it!

I'm not a fan of the pet shaming. Lucy is a lovely dog, I'm sure she tried to tell you she needed out. :) g

It's just yarn?? How can anyone say that about merino and cashmere? It is yummy yarn and a beautiful color too!!

Poor little Lucy! She must be so embarrassed. Tell her for me that we all have accidents. If I had been there I would have spilled something for sure!

Lucky you! (for the yarn) I guess Fireman isn't a knitter, eh?

Oh I love that yarn, of course you are squealing. That picture is a hoot, I bet Auntie Kathy did not mind the accident at all.
Hugs,
Meredith
Beautiful beautiful yarn!!!
They just don't understand..... that is when yarn is like that it is a delight for the eyes and fills us with pleasure.
Merino and cashmere.....sigh!

keep well

Love that yarn! It's gorgeous. As for poor Lucy, I have to laugh. Around here pooping and peeing (and for the cats-puking) in the house is the norm. I could get so much more knitting done if I wasn't always on mess duty.

Gorgeous yarn, but I did have to laugh at your canine friend!

Oh that's beautiful yarn! (At least he added "honey" to the sentence??)

Poor Lucy. I love that you call it a little accident though. ;)
