Guernsey Goings ON !

I've Gone Guernsey.  Yup.  I can do this!
I'm knitting "That Easy Guernsey Hat"
a free Ravelry pattern.

Gosh Golly Gee I LOVE guernsey!
I have in my knit book collection:
Knitting Ganseys' by Beth Brown -Reinsel.
I believe Marguerite suggested it years ago.
Sometimes think have to simmer in my mind a bit before I can attempt them....
Stay tuned for more Gansey fun.

and now for furry ones' pictures
Pie baby likes to lounge on the sofa with us now.
I found her in Zach's closet the other day laying on a pile of clothes.  All cats know this place of joy...but how??
I met Moxi at our local ice cream venue yesterday.  She rides in a pack on her person while he rides a motorbike....
She wears her goggles well.
She's a lucky rescue from Arizona her person tells me.
Dear Diane has a grand dog who wears goggles too.  Eye protection....can't take it to lightly for the travelin' ones.

What's going on by you?

Looks like a fun hat pattern to knit. I'm curious as to how it will look when it's read to wear.

Pie...what a cutie! Love that picture. She sure looks like she feels loved and at home!!

A little dog with goggles! Oh my, that is so cute. Perhaps if you start a dog out young wearing them, they are totally OK with it, eh?

What a fun post today!

Gansey knitting is such fun! Round and round and no seams. Start with one of the little kid sweaters where you don't have to worry much about gauge and fit. You'll love it!

Pie probably found the pile of comfort by the scent. We dog-sit a golden retriever and when we leave she ALWAYS pulls something of Steve's up on the bed and sleeps with it. She NEVER chews it -- just wants it by her.

What a cute pup and the goggles are ADORABLE.

So cute - all of it! I'm on a green kick, so the yarn speaks to me, and Pie is just too cute.

My sister's lab wears Doggles on the boat.

Can't wait to see the hat. I love to discover new knitting techniques. I think it keeps our knitting fresh!

Pie is so cute lounging on the couch! She certainly knows how to make herself comfortable. Macy and Max love to find a pile of clean clothes fresh from the dryer to lounge in.

I would love to see Moxi in her goggles!

I agree with Marguerite, start with something small, and soon you will be hooked.

What a newsy and fun post - love the photos and the green yarn.

What could be cuter than a dog with goggles on? You are brave with the Guernsey.

It was suggested by the vet that my blind doggie wear "doggles" but she wouldn't keep them on. Too bad she couldn't have seen how cute she would have looked in them. That biker goggie is a riot!

Pie is SO cute! I have that same Gansey book but haven't tried any of the patterns. Cats that walk on a leash and dogs that wear goggles, amazing! We did see a guy out walking their cat on his shoulder yesterday though.
