You Were Right
Short of asking a stranger to let me use their child as a model,
the finished poncho set remains 2 dimensional this morning. The hat is not as big as It looks in the image, but babies do have big heads..don't they?
I'm passing along tips by Rebecca Watson in an article she wrote for Interweave Knits Summer 2012.
My wrist is a bit sore from the lack of give in the acrylic yarn used for the baby poncho....
This finger stretch feels sooooo good.
I am still overjoyed with having a weekend off. Tomorrow we are going to a Minor League Baseball game; the Kane County Cougars were bought by the Cubs franchise. There will be knitting during the game....of course.
So a Finish, a Finger stretch and a Franchise for fodder this morning! Thanks for stopping by.

When we go to a minor league game, it is usually the Cubbies. We go to the Daytona Cubs. Best bargain in the baseball business. If you go on Tuesday, you get in for $5.00 and get a free hot dog.
The poncho and hat are darling.
The hat and poncho are a great duo. Very nice!!
Enjoy your baseball knitting!! What could be better?
Happy stretching!
