In the Pink

The baby poncho in progress is pictured above.
I found a bag of koigu in the closet.  (it had been a baby sweater that AL frogged a few years back.)
I'm knitting the koigu with a pink skein of Lorna's Laces that Irisheyes Lynn gave me.
It will be darling when finished, but the double strands are wearing on my wrist.

I need my hands/wrists/fingers to stay in the Pink. Therefore, the poncho is on hold.

Zachary gave me these gorgeous flowers for Mother's Day.   The pinks are my favorite.
Someone named Pink has a song about learning to love again.   Fireman likes it so I googled it, and I like it too.  I like that the guy from the band FUN is singing the duet with Pink.

Pop Culture....It escapes me sometimes.  I try to keep up.  There are some wonderful new artists in our world.

What's Pink in your world today?

I looked at People magazine at the Dentist's off ice recently and I swear I didn't know half of the young actors, Apparently I am getting old!
Love your pick.

Have you considered wearing like these: http://www.joann.com/craft-gloves/prd35529/

Maybe your hands just need some support while knitting with some yarn.

Love your pink knitting and flowers.

Cute poncho in pink!!

The flowers are gorgeous! Rich pink color!!

I don't wear much pink because I have more yellow or golden tones in my skin...but love the various colors of pink available in yarns, etc.

Well, when it comes to Pop Culture, I find I'm slowly becoming less familiar with "happening" artists, although I try to stay informed. Did you all see that Tom Jones and Rod Stewart have just put out new albums? It's amazing how they have kept their careers going.

I'm afraid I am a bit of a stick-in-the-mud when it comes to pop music! I seem to stick with the oldies like the original Rod Stewart. Give me Fleetwood Mac and I'm happy!!

I am in awe of your flower photos. I went out and tried to capture some pink things I was planting this morning and gave up.

I have a little niece who is 23 months old. She has 3 older brothers who are 8,7 and 4. She has a heart health issue and she loves loves loves pink. So in that respect she is a little girl, but because of her older brothers she is a Tom Boy.

Poncho is cute!! How big a baby are you knitting for?

As far as pink, I have an 11 y/o so we have lots of pink in the house. It changes hues but pink is still in the mix. Her outfit for tomorrow is a combo pink/black.

I am casting wildly about for something pink in my world ... and there it is in front of me.

Tallulah the Turtle is sporting a dinosaur costume - pink stegosaurus-type fins down her back.

What beautiful flowers and that poncho will be very cute.
