10 Ways to Knit Through the Summer
Yesterday we went to the ballgame; Minor League Major Fun. Awesome weather...and it got me thinking...
I love to knit all year round and here are 10 Ways to Knit All Summer Long . (started a sock at the game)
*Plan on Socks. They are portable and you can give them as winter gifts. You'll be so ahead of the game. (pun intended)
*Don't put away your crock pot. Crock pot meals for summer are one easy way to keep your kitchen cooler. Crockpot cooking isn't rocket science....
and everything tastes moist. Try a pork shoulder in root beer!
*Pack your bag for the car. Rrrrrroadtrip!!!! Have your travel bag ready for all those drives. Keep a scissors, a stitch marker, a crochet hook for dropped stitches, and your sunglasses baby!
*Find a Stitch and Pitch game in your area..or organize one......
(bring your knit group to the local little league games and wow that new generation)
*Enter the State Fair.....this is on my bucket list
*Nothing says summer like COTTON. Knit dishcloths for the Brides to Be.
*Knit squares for a baby blanket. No need to have anything heavy on your lap all summer long.
*Mulching now means less weeding later = More time to knit while your garden grows.
*Knit for those graduates in your life: college colors are always a hit.
*Join Dee and me ...we are trying to be more fit. Im off to the ICKY liptical as I call it now.
Memorial Day is just 25 days away...
SUMMER.. I LIVE FOR THIS.

I like to knit all year around too...and knitting with cotton is a good way to do it.
BUT, today is simply gorgeous! There is a beautiful cool breeze and I'm going to take advantage by knitting on the porch.
I always have a pair of socks on the needles for a grab and go project.
Glad you had fun at the game.
