You Are All So Helpful and Funny

So, I post without a picture and you all give me more comments than with one.    Go figure, I thought the pictures made all the difference.

Well tomorrow I will be back to posting pictures, ha ha.

I Would have cast on for mohair socks if all of you were not so wise.  Thanks!  As it is I just frogged the green socks.......I was afaid I would runoutat the toe of  sock two.   It must be the year of the  frog  for me , personally.   Thing is, I don't mind  one bit.

I used to become so upset with myself when I failed or frogged, now I just rip and move on.

Now The yarn may get to be hats for a co worker expecting twin boys.

I've got a super busy day today but it is all good.   I am not dying any eggs this year, but the great news is I am off for Easter.   Are you coloring eggs?

No eggs for us this year. We don't have any little ones to enjoy them.

I'm making Easter CHEESECAKE instead. LOL

I never minded frogging. To me, it always meant I was getting (making) something even better.

I don't mind frogging either.

No eggs. The Knight is smoking salmon and I merely have to be a nice girl and share my flavored coffee K-cups.

We haven't dyed eggs in years. But I will hard boil a bunch and make deviled eggs. Glad you get the weekend off.

When I have to frog my projects and my hubby laughs at me - I just tell him I'm increasing the cost of enjoyment. :) g

We stopped coloring eggs a l-o-o-n-g time ago! Even the kids got tired of it, but they would hand paint a few.

So glad to hear you have made peace with ripping! It is a friend of mine too. Frogging is an important part of knitting!!

Frogging...not a fan. I try anything and everything to avoid it. Yeah, I know, sometimes there's no getting around it.

I am going to try dying eggs with onion skins this year. I saw that for the first time a couple years ago, and I was rather intrigued. So, we'll see how it goes.

We colored eggs last weekend...and had a LOT of egg salad soon after :)

In some ways frogging is a soothing, redemptive activity...reminding me on this Good Friday of how death can open the way for new life.

Your picture free post inspired me :)

xx,
Gracie

I just cleaned up the kitchen from this years dyeing extravaganza. I had to boil eggs twice because a dozen wasn't enough for The Mister to work out all his creative energy. I have no idea what we are going to do with all these eggs since it is just the two of us.

I'm going to use the egg dye for my fleece! Well maybe I'll do a few eggs too. ;-)

The last time we colored eggs was some years back when 1 egg went AWOL for several years. It finally appeared thanks to a visitor who found it in the Teddy Bear's sweatshirt pouch. Months later the evil egg blew to bits in our kitchen. Weird, eh? And yes I either frog or tink often......

I haven't colored eggs in a long time. No kids around to want to do it, and it makes the house smell like vinegar...
