Easter Tea for Two and Two for Tea

I HAD THE CHANCE TO STOP INTO A TEA SHOP THIS MORNING.

GRACE, ALL THE TABLES WERE SO LOVELY, I IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF YOU.  i REALLY LOVED THE PURPLE BUNNY ON THE DARK TABLE CLOTH.   MR BUNNY IS HOLDING A CHOCOLATE EGG IN PURPLE FOIL.

THE WAY THE TABLE WAS LAYERED IN SEVERAL CLOTHS AND THE LITTLE ROUND TEA CUP MATS REALLY WORKED.

ONE OF MY SISTERS ALWAYS DECORATES HER TABLES FOR EVEN THE SLIGHTED SNACK AND DROP IN AT HER HOUSE.
WE ARE VERY DIFFERENT.

YOU ARE LUCKY IF YOU GET A PAPER NAPKIN AROUND MY HOUSE.  I DO MANAGE TO GUSSY IT UP WHEN IT IS A MAJOR HOLIDAY OR CELEBRATION.

IM KNITTING THE SECOND SOCK ALREADY THIS MORNING.
IM HAVING A LOVELY CUP OF COFFEE TOO.
I FOUND SOME CLOTTED CREME AT THE TEA SHOP AND I THINK IM IN HEAVEN.

HOWS YOUR DAY GOING?

I am not a fancy table gal, but fully appreciate those who take the time to make their tables so lovely.
Hugs to you Kathy,

I would love a trip to a tea shop! I also love the tea table in the photo. I'm afraid pretty tables fall by the wayside in my house. When our extended family of 24 arrives they get paper plates and napkins and plastic forks and knives. One year at Thanksgiving I brought out Mother's beautiful china and they were all afraid to use it--back to the paper plates!

we used to have a tea & yarn shop, but it's no longer. They set pretty tables too. I'm like you although I do have a large selection of cloth napkins. g

What a lovely table for tea! It would be a perfect setting for sipping tea and chatting with a friend. Have a great day!

My whole house is SO unfancy. Very spartan in some people's opinion. LOL

BUT, I do promise a nice cup of tea if you happen to stop by. I have a pretty good selection. ;-)

You and Grace need to come on down!

What a sweet little table! I love table sets like that. You got me thinking about how I'm going to set my table for Easter now. Hmmm...

Hot tea is my favorite beverage - year round. I drink gallons and gallons of it every week.

The tea table setting is lovely. I hope you had a nice visit and some tea sandwiches or treats, too.

I have never been to a tea house, but I have a groupon for one. It looks very nice.

I haven't been to a tea shop in WAY TOO LONG. I must remedy this...
