Comic Relief

I found this wallet at the resale shop last weekend.
It is so vintage....I imagine  Lucille Ball went shopping with a wallet like this one.   The old Lucy and Ethel black and white shows are my favorite.   They always made me laugh.  Laughing is good when I'm a bit under the weather.
I'm certain Tank snickers when I drop a stitch.    Cat's are like that...

If my back pain continues through the weekend I'll need more comic relief.  I've never seen Caddyshack.....I've never seen Animal House...
are these BOY movies?   DO you have any funny movies that Tank and I might enjoy while I drop a few stitches today?

I've seen Caddyshack but not Animal House. However, I would think if you are laughing you will definately be dropping stitches. Hope your back starts behaving soon. g

Is laughing good for your back? I mean I don't want you laughing so hard you need more meds. Hm....how about Groundhog Day, that one makes me laugh. Or a nice movie like You've Got Mail or Sleepless in Seattle?
Hope you are feeling better soon, did you try the Tiger Balm? I swear by it. Well swear in a good way.

Not much of a movie person, but I do like animated movies.

Despicable Me is pretty funny. Monsters, Inc. is good too.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Loved Animal House as a college girl. Groaned through it last time we watched it. The Knight loves Caddyshack and anything with Eddie Murphy. Me? I guess I'm not a comedy girl. Give me Fried Green Tomatoes, Men of Honor, Dirty Dancings, A Few Good Men...

I second Tiger Balm, or a roll-on Icy Hot if Fireman isn't around to help.

Sorry, I can't recommend any movies - I don't care too much for comedy.

Are you going to the doctor next week, if your back doesn't get any better?

Follow up:

I've been to the doctor re: my back/flank pain...and he seems not too concerned. I do recall this happening another time with a UTI.

Gosh, Kathy, I so hoped you'd be feeling better by now! We just watched an old black and white Alfred Hitchcock movie (Spellbound) and found it entertaining. That was after trying to go to a "real" movie and everything was sold out, then to Redbox which was also sold out, and even the caffeine free coke was sold out. Go figure. Not our night, I guess! lol

I just watched Shakespeare in Love and found myself laughing at loud. I didn't remember it being so funny.
Feel better!

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that you still aren't recovered. At least you have plenty of knitting time, that has to help a little bit. Those movies are definitely guy movies. I can't really give you any suggestions because more of the movies I watch people haven't really heard of. Except for Silver Linings Play book which is so so good!

You have never seen Caddyshack? I've lost count of the times I've watched it and it never fails to send me into fits of laughter. Bill Murray is brilliant but the groundhog is the star!

Still praying for your back. Heal!!!

The Dilema with Vince Vaughn. Laughed so hard I cried... not sure if that is good for your back. But, I do believe laughter is good medicine! Yes, I'm sure Tank does snicker when a stitch is dropped... cats are smug like that. LOL! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Sorry you're under the weather. I hope you feel better soon. It's Complicated always cracks me up and you can't go wrong with Caddyshack. Thanks for the comment.

The only movie that cracks me up no matter how many times I see it is "Talladega Nights." I can even laugh just thinking about it.
