The Christmas Wrap Up

The Leftover Hats were a hit.  Only one hat didn't fit.
Tonight's a new party,
We'll eat good and hearty,
and regift the hat to a kid.
Beatles went out in the snow
His paws were cold under tow
So he took me right back to the door
Being outside he wanted no more,
He stayed in while the cold Winds did blow.
Santa was good to this girl
He brought some new yarn I can twirl
How did he know
I would certainly show
the stuff I would soon give a whirl..

Okay those limericks didn't come easy this morning...
We are having 20 something for pizza tonight to celebrate that Al and Zach are home....
I better get a move on.   The house looks like
a clutter with wonderful new gifts....
how does your house look about now?

Oooooh, I love the color of your new yarn. Who doesn't love cherry tree hill? It's so wonderful to knit.

Enjoy your pizza party - have a slice of cheese for me.

What a great job with your rhyme.

Pizza what a great idea.
Two weeks ago we went over to friends for pizza and had Jake's. We were going to have Barnaby's.

Love the yarn.

Considering ... not too bad. There are still some things under the tree and my stitching corner is a mess.

I'll be working on that mess this afternoon.

Have a good pizza party with Al and Zach. Wishing you ALL a very happy New Year!

The new yarn is beautiful! Beatles is cute in the snow! Pizza sounds really good! AND 20 for dinner sounds like great fun!!

My house is okay except that I haven't had time to vacuum and there is about an inch of dog hair.

I think Katherine is talking about my house... dog hair on the floor, furniture and clothes. Last gifts will be given tonight. Knight's gifts are MOSTLY put away. I haven't put the first one away.

Kathy, your words and pictures are so clever
they will help you remember forever
your family that is so very dear
though your kitty has cold-footed fear.
As you celebrate with pizza tonight
may you be filled with abundant delight
and look to another very happy year
knitting, love, and great, good cheer :)
