Potato Chip Pocketbook Slipper Knits

OH the places you'll go with some leftover yarns...
Lots of you have knitted the Pocketbook Slippers but I just
started.   I think, no I know, I'm in love.
S0.....First Pair's for ME!
I knit ONE of the pair yesterday and it was a super quick
easy pattern.

*I'm not about last minute gift knitting,
* I will not start last minute gift knitting
* I don't believe in stress knitting
*I won't start now

but I will be casting on more of these babies!  (Now if only I had Red and Green worsted weight in my leftover stash....
ahem...I think I have red....)

Have you been finding time to knit?
I have to knit or I go coo coo!

I haven't seen this slipper before: it is really interesting and looks comfy.

I'm doing last minutes gift knitting that I vowed not to do. I take promises to others way more seriously than promises to myself.

No knitting at all here. I still need to get Christmas cards out! Those are tempting though... off to Ravelry.

Ohhh, I need some of those. I'll have to put that in my Rav queue

I've never seen such a pattern. I'm not sure I would know its a slipper if I saw it laying there. How interesting!

I am frantically working on two different scarves, and I would love to get them finished by Christmas. Realistically, they may be finished by New Years!

I don't think that I would ever wear those because I generally prefer to go barefoot at home, but they look like SO much fun to knit!

End-of-year and knitting time is scarce!! I'm so thankful to grab a few minutes here and there. At least the shopping is done and I can breathe when I get home in the evenings.

I love the slippers!! I have the pattern but have never used it. Now is the time!

I can't even try to keep up with you! Love the slippers, no knitting, just work and more work, maybe tomorrow.
Hugs to you,
Mreedith

I get super grumpy if I don't knit, check blogs, or if there are lots of untidy things around me. I'm still working on last-minute things! I have to finish a hedgehog to mail off for a sale for my old knitting group. And I promised my boyfriend a scarf... I don't think he expects it but I'll keep trying to finish it!
