That is sad and comforting at the same time because my granddaughter always did the same thing. She never liked Santa in person but we could talk about him and she would get excited about him bringing toys. It was a case of "give me the toys but don't put me in his lap or you are in big trouble!"

Oh how I loved those photos of my kids with Santa. Really - Santa can be kinda creepy and kids are right to be scared of him. Great photo - hope the party was lovely! g
