Christmas Confession......

Very teeny tiny presents scattered on my table...
But that's not the confession: this is......I've managed to eat all the Holiday Christmas cookies  I made a month ago.  One before bed every night, okay maybe two, and one for Fireman.  That's 2 to 3 cookies per day times 30 days....
equals....the end of the cookies....
What to do?
I'm making quick breads for dessert instead.  There will be
Almond Poundcake Bread
Cranberry Bread and new this year:
EggNog Bread.
Cookies are my downfall, my treat, my tiny joy~!
and finally some knitting
Simple TOAST handwarmers in fingerless style.  They will be midllength.
Confessions anyone else???

Eggnog my husband's favorite.
I make eggnog bread like it is going out of style this time of year.

I have had the same trouble with chocolate covered peanuts. My sister-in-law sent three baggies home with me. Supposedly there was one bag for each member of my family, but in reality it was three bags for me. :(

Will you share your bread recipes? I don't have a cranberry bread recipe I love and the Knight (and the fur-girls) believe eggnogg is a separate food group...

I confess: I bought Lindor Truffles to fill Christmas stockings and have refilled the bowl three times--no stockings, just the bowl!! I haven't eaten a single Christmas cookie but chocolate is my weakness.

Love the Toast wristlets!!

EGGNOG BREAD?!? I must have this. Sounds wonderful.

My confession is that if Christmas cookies do show up (and thanks to my fiancé's mom, they always do), I eat them all. Or it feels like it. I am a Cookie Monster.

I have already eaten one of my fruitcakes. All by myself. The entire thing-one hacked off piece at a time. I'm not making the cookies until Sunday. I wouldn't dare.

Why not enjoy life and eat a couple of cookies? I've had three cupcakes today and not regretting it! Happy baking!

We have a black cat under our tree too! Cookies aren't a problem yet-I'm gluten free and haven't made mine yet.

I started eating some chocolate-covered gingerbread cookies a few days ago--one for breakfast each day. It will probably take me awhile, but I'll probably eat the whole box by New Year's. They aren't homemade but are still very tasty.
