The Lion Lays Down with the Lamb

Last night we witnessed the brothers, Tank and Beatles, snuggling together.  This is a first in our house.  I had hoped from the start that these young boy cats would be buddies; it took 3 months and a chill in the air , and it is now a reality.
These sheep were the only ones we saw in Mexico.  Thanks to my zoom I can show them to you.

It is the workend and I don't mind a bit.  I work with great people. It is fun to return to work and tell them about my trip.

On the knit front, I am finishing the second toe of the grey based socks I've been showing you. The after thought heels will be worked sometime around Tuesday when the workend fatigue has been slept off.
By the way, sweet Katherine sent me a dog tag styled Kitchener tag.
I think I can I think I can I think I can....

I'm wishing you a cozy weekend.   What are your plans?

What a sweet photo! I still melt every time the fur-girls curl up together, and it happens several times daily.

My weekend plans? Laundry and walks. Sissy says it's walk time now, but I need to see if the Knight is coming home for lunch first. He's duty officer this weekend... sigh.

Repetition is the key to the kitchener stitch - say the steps out loud as you do them, and it soon becomes second nature.

It rained and then snowed last night, so the streets and walks are extremely icy this morning. I'm off to meet some former work buddies at our monthly "coffee." It will be fun to visit wit them again.

Like your sheep photo! I hope your workend goes well. My weekend also involves working (class planning and getting ready for a big academic conference that starts next Friday) and some important fun: hosting a knitting afternoon with friends today!

Love the pictures of the brothers snuggling, they are so cute. I am having a low key weekend, lots of puttering about and crocheting, I am a hormonal mess so I think it is best to stay out of public places for now!
happy Workend,
Meredith
Glad everyone is getting along in your home! *smile*
Hope you have fun in your workend!
Keep knitting and good luck with your sock!

Great kitty photo! How ever did you get them to become friends? Our two have co-existed for almost 5 years. Mocha still growls at Ginger who's almost twice her size.

I knew both personalities pretty well before they met this summer. Tank was my daughters cat. BEatles is so so so outgoing , tank is shy. THey are both close in age and both male...
not to mention it is getting COLD here and our chilly house lends itself to wanting to snuggle for warmth sake

Love when critters cuddle - it's adorable and sweet.

Weekend: sewing, sewing, cleaning, sewing, knitting, sewing, cooking, sewing, dog walking and maybe a bit of sewing. g

Love, love, love the picture of the sleeping kitty buddies! Isn't it great when you get to witness something like this?

We got snow last night, and the roads are slick, but I'm going out anyway to a raspberry farm open-house to purchase raspberry salsa, raspberry honey, raspberry, BBQ sauce, and raspberry jam!

I am still waiting for my feline sisters to get cozy like your boys. It has been almost a year and they still sleep seperately. I did see Raina licking Misha on the top of the head while Misha was stealing her food!!! lol
