Late to the Party....Again...

I just fell in love with Noro.  I think it is lovely as a table decoration....oh
that's right
I am supposed to knit with it.

Everyone swears it softens up beautifully.  I'm not revealing what I'm knitting with it yet...but I'll tell you this much:  Something told me it was time to knit on straights again.  I felt like knitting on straights.

The great thing about being late to this party is that the NORO I wanted is all on sale at Mosaic Yarn Studio.   Santa needs to get over there and pick up more NORO to put under our tree.

Side notes:

My Holiday goal is the same as last year: Only purchase items that include FREE shipping.  This is just a game I play .....

My Holiday goal is to stay on the Nordic Track .....this is not a game I play.....it is my favorite time of year; COOKIE time.  I must offset the cookie intake.

My Holiday knits are finished.  This year I knit enough early on to have the gifts I planned all finished.  I'm giving 4 knit gifts this year.

Any side notes this weekend ?

Love love Noro too.
I have the Noro magazine that came out this Fall and there is a sweater in there that I want to make for myself.
You say Noro is on sale at Mosaic I might just have to wander over there.

Noro has some VERY interesting color combinations. I knit a pair of socks a couple of years back.

They were a little heavy for Florida, but they wore unexpectedly well. They recently found a new home in Pennsylvania where they will get a lot more use.

Can't wait to see what you do with your Noro, other than decorating, I mean. LOL

LOL! Yes, the Noro is beautiful. I have a weakness for a beautifully dyed skein on occasion. How many times have I looked at the clock and thought, "Yeah, I have time for one more row." It's a bad decision almost every time!

I love Noro, but I also love Plymouth Kudo... mainly because my favorite LYS doesn't carry Noro.

My sweet tooth and I walk/run 20+ miles per week, but I'll start sliding by the firehouse gym and running on the elliptical too now that it's very cold. But wait... staying warm burns more calories, right?

Noro has great colors, doesn't it? Some versions are a lot softer than others, I've noticed. It makes great hats! Sounds like yu had a nice Thanksgiving!

Noro's colors are beautiful. I like knitting with Noro Sock, but not Noro Silk Garden. It took me a while to accept the thick/thin sections for which Noro is known.

I have a love/hate relationship with Noro. I love the colors, but am sometimes disappointed with the quality and the price. Looking forward to hearing what you think about it.

Noro is my absolute FAVORITE yarn brand. If I could afford to, it would be the only yarn I ever knit with.
