A Week of Thanksgiving....

Here we go: I'm thankful for three amigos in the image below......
Zachary, Alejandra and Helen.   If this is the youth of our tomorrows we are in good hands.   They are all that youth should be: excited about life, embracing different cultures, and ready to take on the world.
I am thankful for the opportunity to knit a gift for Alejandra.  She will be the recipient of the Drop Stitch Cowl.  Yarn: Ella Rae Lace merino Chunky.  Pattern: free on Ravelry: Spiderwomanknits Abi gregorio Connors.

Helen is learning to knit.  I think I'll send her some yarn.....she was most appreciative and awed at my last sock in progress.  She had that, Mind blowing look on her face...when she learned the yarn did all the color change and pattern work for you.

Happy Thanksgiving Three Amigos....

Beautiful "young people" and beautiful knitting! It's fun to share fiber arts with others who really appreciate it, isn't it?

The recipients of your knitting projects are so fortunate! Isn't it wonderful to be in the company of young people who are kind, motivated, excited, and grateful?

What wonderful faces!! They look so happy. There is no greater gift than to assist a young person in satisfying the need to knit! Especially a young person who is awed by the process. You are doing a great thing by sending her yarn. We should all send her yarn!

What a wonderful group!!! :-)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and them.

I have to admit, I've been knitting self-striping socks for a long time and I'm STILL amazed at how they do that. LOL

They certainly are beautiful, inside and out. So sorry to hear about your car! That just stinks.
Hugs to you,
Meredith

Eager faces filled with promise is what I see in your photo.

High five, for self-striping yarn!

What a lovely glimpse of the drop stitch cowl. Lovely, eager faces in your photo. I don't think I'm worried if they are the future. Enjoy sharing the joy of knitting. g

Love the cowl and picture of the three kids. That awed expression gets me every time.
