It's A Wrap

The Pattern Swap is over.  What fun I had with this one. Six of us played along and played well. Jennifer (Major Knitter) sent to me. She sent this adorable sheepy project bag with the patterns. Im already putting it to work.  Adorable, sheepish, clever and whimsical ..all the things I love.
To whomsoever put this Omega Wrap Pattern in the pile...it is jumping out me...it is my next cast on for sure.  It uses different stash yarns for effect......how perfect is that? Who who who added this one?

I had a thrill of another sort last night. I got to leave work at 11 pm.  I had scratched my cornea.....AGAIN, on Saturday and toughed it out at work that night.  Sunday we had extra staff and I got to leave with my eye ointment and head to bed.  It felt like Christmas I tell you, to crawl into my bed at midnight ......like a normal person and sleep the night away...

any thrills for you this weekend??

Please take good care of your eye or we'll have to devise a pattern to knit an eye-patch for you!

This weekend was dull, dull, dull! I did start TGV but in sock yarn that was not very satisfying, so now it is going again in good old LB WoolEase. Yep, I'm the frogging queen!!

I'm thrilled that my 16 year old granddaughter just got hired at Target. She's been job hunting forever - times are bad out there, you know, and nobody was hiring teenagers with no job experience.
She didn't give up. Lesson learned.

I actually got my 15 ear old to remove some of the things from his room, a room he has not changed in all his years. It still had dinosaurs and legos. I am all for not growing up too fast, but I think this was pure laziness.
Love the sheep bag,
Meredith

Is that Omega pattern a moebius style pattern? I made Cat Bordi's moebius cowl and it looks JUST like that. The cast on for the moebius tech. is tricky, but not impossible! (If I can tackle it, anyone can!!! LOL)

I went home to visit the my parents over the weekend and learned that they have discovered a "spot" of irritation on my father's "backside" and they are monitoring it. He is not bed ridden, but spends his whole waking hours sitting in a his wheel chair. There are several cases of mursa on his floor. Not a good weekend for me.

Glad you got to go home early, but NOT glad it was because you scratched your cornea. A knitted eye patch is a great idea for you!
