I Cannot Help Myself with Halloween

I am sorry; I realize this is a knitblog.  I cannot help myself. I love Halloween and Fall.  You just have to put up with more images from my immediate neighborhood.  The new people in a big new house down the road a piece, (doesn't that sound like I live in the country...I don't.  I live in the suburbs. ....)  made their big covered porch spooky.  I LOVE Their zombie at the front door.

I'm all about imagination....so I have pumpkins and my 2 big crows on my front porch.  I also put orange lights in the top window of the house.....

If you are all about imagination you can imagine the koigu socks I cast on last night.  I'm imagining I can work an afterthought heel for the first time in my life.  You get kind of cocky after you go motorcycle riding ......
imagine that...

I am going to attempt an afterthought heel soon, too. Please share any tips you find helpful.

An afterthought heel sounds scary...perfect for Halloween, I must say. You and Nancy, you motorcycle mommas, are getting cocky alright! LOL.

I'm waiting to hear how well it goes.

I love looking at the Halloween decoration photos and all the decorations in our neighborhood and others, but for me...ho-hum! I just can't get into Halloween, but when Christmas comes there will be glitter hanging for every possible surface and Christmas music playing all day!! People get really tired of my Ho-Ho-Hos!!

Good luck with the afterthought heel. I tried it and it was not difficult but it didn't fit right on me. Hope you post some pictures of your socks!

Love the pictures. It's your blog. Post whatever you want on it and don't worry about it.

I've found some of what I considered the most boring posts on my blog get the most comments. Never have figured that out, but it encourages me to just keep being me.

The scariest thing in your post is the afterthought heel. I've never attempted one, just read about how to do it and been too scared to try. Please report.

You go ahead and post pictures about anything and I know I am going to enjoy them!

I have never had a desire to do an afterthought heel. But please keep us posted on the progress of the socks and heel adventure.

Happy Halloween!
BOO!
