Even More Fall Colors

Sorry, but the colors continue to pepper the landscape here .  Soon it will all be grey.  It will be grey for days and days and days and days.   It will be a smothering grey.  On so many grey days, I have to remind myself that above the cloud cover, there is sun and blue sky....

So today you get more colorful images to enjoy.  I believe it is Chicago's finest hour....

Besides knitting today, I am doing something I"ve never done before...

Lately I've wanted to ride a motorcycle......so Fireman's Fireman friend Joe is taking me for a ride in a bit.  WHeeeeeeeeee!  Have you ever???

Actually, I've been on a motorcycle three times in my life - one on an extended trip. It was a blast!

Have fun - wear a helmet!

Never!! DS#4 had a bike for two years but he got tired of Mom making worried noises about it. He sold it thank heaven! I would never ride one. I'm a motorcycle coward.

Love the colors! I needed to see that today because it is grey, grey, grey here. No rain, just grey!

Beautiful! We are just starting to see real color here. I love fall...

And no. I don't do motorcycles, but you enjoy!!

Your photos of the fall colors are spectacular! I love it...and do not look forward to the bare trees. I think that snowfall makes everything look better when most of our landscape turns dusty brown.

Have I ridden a motorcycle? Yes, mostly as a teenager. My brother was the influence. He still loves to ride his motorcycle, but I don't care for them. I like a little more metal surrounding me as I travel down the highway.

I'm jealous - the peak of fall is over for Rochester, although it was much prettier than in the past 2 years.

I've never been on a motorcycle but I would definitely go for a ride! :D

I have ridden a motorcycle and it was wonderful. Loved it but never could convince myself it was safe. Have fun.

I rode a motorcycle once in my youth. I will leave it to youth.
You're outlook in gray winter is the same as mine. It is too long and colorless. But for now, your Autumn pictures full of color are beautiful.

Look at you getting all adventurous! I have ridden a motorcycle - but not in years. I hope you had a great time.

And the grey days are depressing, but they will pass and life continues. Bring flowers and color inside :) g

Wonderful colors! Hurry up Fall, and change things a little more here!

Yes, I HAVE ridden a motorcycle! When I was 16 we had a couple of Honda trail bikes, and we rode lots right behind our house in the Wildlife Preserve. Miles and miles of dirt roads, trails, mud, creeks, bull nettle bushes (ouch! they attack your ankles as you whizz by), deer, birds, possums, coons, ... such fun! However I would not ride on the highways... I don't trust other drivers!

Enjoy your ride!

Yes, I have ridden a motorcycle as well! (When I also was about 16 and loved it!) My daughter's boyfriend has a motorcycle and she is totally a biker girl now. When he comes over for a visit and brings his way cool bike I am serious tempted to ask him for a ride BUT my daughter would be mortified so I just let it go!!!! lol

The grey dark days of winter are the only reason why I end up having to take medication for my Seasonal Effective Disorder. Without my medication I would be totally disabled and unable to cope with the dark, cold, dangerous winter conditions.

Keep those color pictures coming!

How fun! When I was 16, my dad and my brother taught me how to drive a motorcycle....I felt so tough!
