The Front
The Back
I am thrilled with the blanket. It may be one of my favorite Knit ups. Yes it was lots of piecework but I love the outcome. I am glad I knit a garter back for hiding the ends. Yet, it seems a bit unfinished....
ideas anyone? Fringe doesn't appeal to me on this one. Perhaps I should just crochet a non-frilly edge around the whole thing. Suggestions are encouraged.
I spent a good part of the evening yesterday decided what to knit next. Without further ado, I shall tell you that some socks from a month ago ended up in my hands. It feels like sock time to me again.
Finally, Da Bears play The PACK tonight. I have no hope whatsoever that Da Bears can win the game. I'm not a magical thinker.....All you Packer fans out there will enjoy handing us a good licking. I'm kind of a Packer Fan myself.......

Who knows what will happen in the game, I am a Packer Fan but their defense is pretty lacking, so we shall see. I think a nice crochet border would be perfect, maybe a simple shell? Love how the blanket turned out.
Hugs to you,
Meredith
I think it looks nice the way it is, but I'll wait and see what others think.
I would do a crochet border. That seems to finish blankets off nicely.
I love a shell border on a baby blanket. Granted, my baby blanket has a shell border... and yes, that's present tense. It's still in the basket by my bed.
I think a border would look great! What about also tying it like you would tie a quilt? That would keep the two layers together nicely.
That is one cute blanket. Packer fan???? Bite your tongue! I don't care how badly they play da Bears are de boys!!
Love the blanket - maybe just a solid crocheted edge? In the second color from the top?
We watched that game. I'm not really a Packer's fan. Gotta say - I love your quarterback and felt seriously bad for him after the game. I also love that he was obnoxious with the press - who deserved it! "I dream of throwing 4 interceptions and being sacked 7 times!" perfect!!
