Cheating or Positioning?

My son got a new camera yesterday and within minutes we were off to the Chicago Botanic Gardens to have fun.  Is it cheating because you really cannot take a bad picture in the backdrop or forefront of all those beautiful plants?  Maybe it isn't cheating, but rather putting yourself in a position to succeed.
Which leads me to the knitting picture.  This is a woody YO times 3 or Yarn over times three.   Even nature knows how to knit.....
Just a few moments ago, I was in a position to succeed with this hawk image, because I almost always have my camera along with me.  This handsome raptor was at the driving range .....

I put myself in a position to succeed with most of my knitting, by not getting too far out from my narrow comfort zone.  It keeps me successful enough to stay excited about my WIP whatever that may be.   Today I'm working on a new pair of socks well within my comfort range...
I'm all about the comfort zone on my days off from work.
Wishing you something well within your comfort zone today...

Those photos are beautiful. It's not cheating, but an opportunity to photograph natures backdrop.

Wow. Your pictures are stunningly beautiful. I'm wondering about the new camera...as I'm in the market for a new one too. I like the YO's in nature...great shot!!

Your photos are very impressive. What camera are you using?

While I am a little adventurous, I tend to stay in my comfort zone and not too close to the edge.

Beautiful hawk picture. Am I right that it's a peregrin?

I have my camera with me ALWAYS. I almost always have 2 -- my phone camera and a small Nikon. But, I get my BEST pictures with my big Canon and I just bought a purse that isn't too large, but fits all three.

As for knitting ... I'm usually IN my comfort zone, but I'm about ready to step out and step out BIG TIME! LOL

I love your photos! And that's a great idea about staying within your comfort zone - at least usually. I find that I need to step OUT of my comfort zone every so often, though, or I get complacent.
These photos are just beautiful

Wow!! Fantastic pictures. I can almost smell the flower!

I work at it but good pictures almost always elude me. DS tries to help me get better shots but the whole concept is foggy to me! I will try harder.

Beautiful photos. Nature provides the most awesome subjects and backdrops for photos.

It is not cheating. It's smart!
Hi again, just popped back to say I got the clogs at a charity store, they were brand new, so I was very very happy with that!!! They are super comfy, as well as super bright and happy looking :-)
They belonged to the woman working in the shop, who said she was cleaning out, and were from when she lived in sweden, and had a pair in every colour!!!

Wow, the pictures are great! What is that camera? It still takes a good eye to take a good photo!
