NO TV days

"Mike Teavee..." The most important thing we've learned, So far as children are concerned, Is never, NEVER, NEVER let Them near your television set -- Or better still, just don't install The idiotic thing at all.

Yesterday was self-proclaimed no TV no radio day for me. Ahhhhhh. I sat on the porch in silence and knitted. Heaven, I tell you, it was like Heaven. I felt so calm. So quiet. I need no TV no Radio no iPod days.
I love T.V and always have, but sometimes a break is so refreshing. When we go on vacation and there is no TV I remember the goodness of it.
So here is my Lorna's laces sale yarn sock coming right along. And here is dear sweet Puddy, who survived. I'm so glad he did. He is, if you look closely, missing many whiskers. Turns out fellow kittens eat the others whiskers when they are bored or food is clinging to them. Puddy has only stubs. Babka's whiskers are Fine and dandy.....Babka is a beauty and may be a long hair. PUddy has stolen my heart though, because he was so very very ill and somehow survived.....
Now Im sounding like a made for TV movie.........tune in to the Hallmark channel for My Buddy Puddy.

Puddy is adorable!!

We have a lot of no TV or radio/iPod days but I can't give up my Kindle because my favorite thing is reading in a silent house.

I'm sorry... did you say something? I'm lost in Puddy's eyes. They're (seriously) very similar to my own blue/green combo...

Oh Nice call Nancy, I forgot the fudge in the image today.....darn the store in town that is now carrying it at the check out counter....
I wish it was chocolate though....so I showed some restraint and bought a less than favorite flavor....

I haven't had a no TV, no radio day in long time. I think I'm long overdue.

I had no idea that a cat would eat anothers whiskers. It's amazing what you learn in the blogosphere.
My brother and his family have one day a week free from technology, no tv, radio, ipod, ipad, etc etc
I often think I should try it, and my reluctance to try it makes me think even more that I should give it a go :-)
beautiful kitty too

O love quiet, I don't get much of it at my house but I love it anyway. Your sock is looking great, good color choice.
Hope you have a stress free weekend if you are working.

What a sweet little kitty. Sure can see why he's captured your heart. Surely Beatle needs a playmate? Love the color of your new socks!
