Moving On...

Nor dread nor hope attend a dying animal; a man awaits his end dreading and hoping all. William Butler Yeats
The little black and white, Kramer died this weekend. (along with George) Elaine sitting with him, nearly left us yesterday but she is staring to improve a bit... I did hold Kramer in my hand when the sun shine crept into the room that day, so he could nap in the sun like any good cat will. Keep those good thoughts/vibes coming for Elaine and Babka.
I'm thinking of knitting this Patchwork Throw from Catherine Tough's book, Easy knits for Little kids. Hmmm. I must work up the yarn cost first. It is knit in 3 panels. Straight stockinete.....MY FAVORITE. Then again, I might lose interest...... I'll keep pondering this for a few days before I jump in and buy yarn.
Here is the delicious yarn that Emily Ivey from Yarn Miracle sent me. She had a contest and good old random number generator picked me. The yarn is bamboo and gorgeous green. My favorite shade.... Destined for greatness.
So Survivor kittens...alhtough it is still early.... Yarn Winnings and the thrill of a new project perhaps...
What's your Wednesday all about?

So sad that the kitties are so ill. You are amazing to love them and care for them. Love the new yarn, beautiful and Rob Lowe, he is the most beautiful man on earth. Funny, too!
Have a great day,
Meredith

Even though I have never met you in person, I know that you are a wonderful nurse for both humans and animals! Your love and compassion shine through your words.

I know how the loss of fur-babies hurts you and my prayers are for you and for the little kitty babies, that they will grow in strength and be all that they were meant to be.

Can't wait to see what the beautiful new yarn becomes!

I'm so sorry. It's hard to lose them, even when you KNOW that sometimes happens.

Today was personal trainer and then eye doctor. New glasses in three weeks! I'm so excited.

What happened with the kitties? I am so sorry! Love the bamboo yarn! Don't you love my scarecrow? Hey, it is working!!! I am scared to take it down. Tomorrow my knitting group, The Knitty Biddies are coming though, so I will remove it before they arrive.
You mentioned the water baths for birds. They don't like deep water at all, so if your water bath is deep, put a flat rock in the center for them to get up on. This works great!!!!
Hugs,
Kris

So sorry to hear about the two kitties! Am keeping my fingers crossed for the other two. What is making them so sick?
As for my day...tutored someone and went to Pilates this AM, came home and knit some and went for a nice walk. Off to dinner and more knitting, I guess.
