Happy Easter Happy Passover

Grace sent me this darling Knitted Bunny. He fits right into the arrangement Fireman sent me the day Radar left us. We are still tearing up about Radar, but I am one to focus on all the fun we had with him. Having a little one, Beatles, around certainly helps distract us.

Working this weekend as usual, but I really don't mind the Holiday work. Because my job involves so many tasks and so much caring, working a holiday seems necessary and good work. Most families are very grateful.

My father is having Easter at a local skilled care facility and should be home in a week. Thanks so much for the caring and prayers. My sister came in from Minnesota and took some of the pressure off this week. Thanks Goodness. She is a veterinarian and so supportive of our Radar decision. Great timing for her visit.

I have to praise Debbie from the KnitBin. I ordered those adorable puppy scissors and some yarn this week and they've already arrived. Wonderful customer service. Knitbin.com

I am getting near the end of my keyhole shawl and am ready for a new project.
I have Al's new blanket to start and I haven't' bought the yarn yet. Our LYS Three Bags Full has a big anniversary sale on Wednesday. I may find some yarn there...

The yarn I bought for my next shawl from Knit Bin is : Skacel Sirentta in denim blue. Much bigger gauge for this shawl. More instructions and concentration involved, but nothing very demanding.

HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND!!! May you enjoy all the foods and family Easter brings.
You've all been so wonderfully kind and caring to me as usual, this week. I'm very grateful for each one of you and those who are lurkers.....

As one who was hospitalized last Easter, I was grateful for those who worked the holiday and aided in my post-surgery recovery. May God Bless you richly this Easter weekend.

My goodness, what an adorable bunny! Every day it will get better - I always remember that the nights were the hardest because that is when Fiona and I would have our knitting time together. She would hear the click of the needles and she would be on my lap in seconds! I stopped knitting after she died and did not pick up my needles again till just this December after adopting our feline sisters Misha and Raina.

God bless you while your work this weekend, caring for others. That is what Easter is all about.

I'm working in the hospital this Easter as well. Fortunately, it's on midnight shift, so I didn't miss anything.
