3KCBWWC WIld Card .....Your Perfect Knit Day

My Perfect Knit Day: sleep late (I know this cuts into the knit hours, but sleep trumps all when you work night shift) Log on to computer. Coffee.....(maybe with a pinch of sugar since it is a perfect day) Write Blog Post
Read your blogs and leave funny comments. More Coffee
Yarn store trip. Local 3 Bags Full Shop. Find great new inspiring pattern. Fountain Coke.
Nap. (I realize I haven't touched a needle yet...) Awaken after just 45 minutes completely refreshed.
Pick up needles mid project. Project is effortless and a bit fun. Yarn is most likely Lorna's Laces.
Oh, did I say knit on screened porch? Did I say 80 degrees in shade? Slight breeze? Did I say thunderstorms expected?
Friends or my kids drop by to knit and/or chat while I knit. Laugh. Fireman brings out guacamole and chips. and makes me a Mai Tai...
Check the blogs etc again. Storms getting closer. Cats nearby.
Thunderstorms begin. Still knitting effortlessly. I take the perfect picture for the blog.
Oh did I mention the mail? Knit packages arrive. I didn't know they were coming! Did I mention that I dropped fun knit packages off at the post office to YOU earlier in the day?
That's it. Perfect Knit day. Thing is: great thing is: it isn't that far off from an ordinary day here!

Wow you have perfect days every day. My perfect knitting day is heading to the coffee shop with my BFF (or the LYS) and having unlimited time and money to shop, knit and visit. g

Wow, I feel totally relaxed and refreshed just having read your perfect knit day!

I do get a couple days like that a month - but I don't get to sit on a screened in porch.. Sigh. Now I am really jealous! And we had snow here a couple days ago, so now I am really turning green......

Forget it, I don't feel refreshed anymore!!! Now I am just mad!

(only joking of course!)

I want to be you when I grow up---i don't quite remember the last time I felt like I had the perfect knit day!

Maybe the last time we were at the shore

That really is one, relaxing day. Love the fireman bringing the mai tai - nicely done.

I'm going to do the wildcard on Saturday. Trust me, my fantasy is far busier than yours. :)

Just reading your blog helped me to relax. I teach high school, and this is a stressful time of year.

And when storm arrives you sit by a East side window or porch (wind is from South west so no rain is coming in) and you can watch the storm with lightning and sip....? Helen lol
sounds perfect and if this is your normal day lucky you
