Whatever Works

This are my Round Toe instructions. I'm a paper and pen person. It works. Whatever works right?

I'm a list maker....I think that is why I sleep well. I write things down and then they are off my mind.

On my list today:

*Try to finish the Koigu socks OR try again, to start a shawl.

*9 year old great niece's birthday bash. I Love these family parties. I usually have to miss these events due to my Saturday Sunday work schedule. It is a Friday part-tay. I love to see the little ones as they grow. The kids just give off ENERGY and a lightness of being that adults seem to lose....of course, I don't have to chase them or try to get them to sleep, so that is part of the joy.

*Mail my St. Patricks swap package off....

*Clip Radar's nails. He is 9 months old today and we have so far avoided declawing. He is my first cat not to be declawed. Overall it is going very well. Fireman did buy a squirt gun, however, to deter Beatles from a spot on the couch that he is starting to like to scratch...

*I'll be blog reading and commenting too today. I Love to read your posts. Why is it that the glimpse into the ordinary days of others is satisfying to me? I find your lives , fascinating.

Good luck with the clipping. When we tried to clip Jake's (a dog)nails, he could become a boneless, canine tornado. I didn't know a dog could TWIST like that. LOL

Why do we read blogs ---- it's like a big world-wide kaffeklatch. I miss all those friends that have stopped blogging. It's like losing a friend.

The Knight is the paw-di-cure person at our house. I'm afraid of cutting them too short.

I read blogs because I love to read, love to connect with people...

Enjoy the party!

Oh the horrors of paw clipping!!! Macy's can only be clipped by the Vet. He has her number! Max is a true pussycat. I think he would stick his paw in my face and say, "Here, clip my nails."

I'm a list maker too but then I lose the lists. Couldn't be old age setting in could it?

I used to make list but never follow them. I haven't made one in a very long time so I don't know if I've changed. I may have to check this out one day soon.
