Using up the Stash

Another baby beret. And yet another is on the needles. I am using up the stash. My stash of leftovers, that is. The real stash of new untouched yarn is pretty small. I have about 5 skeins of fresh untouched unwound sock yarn. Then there is about 20 other skeins of a variety of yarns.

Beatles got his first hotwheel car yesterday. It came in a package of batteries. He loved it. Typical boy.

The Beach Boys roast in the crockpot came out great. Just 3 ingredients. It shredded up beautifully and tasted wonderful.

Fuji Fuji Fuji, I am LOVING my new camera. It seems to think for me.

I was watching a documentary on the Space Shuttles last night with Fireman. Who are these people who are so brave and intelligent? I worry about being on a plane, let alone a space ship. Who has nerves of steel? I didn't get that gene. I have trouble with a 6 row repeat, let alone a Mission Control launch. People amaze me. They are a different breed.

Thank goodness we are all different.

I watched a video of my hysterectomy. I have to tell you ... about 3 minutes into the procedure I would have walked away from boredom. Thank goodness my dr. has a lot more patience. LOL

Beatles is ADORABLE with his toy car. Yep ... typical boy.

Those space shuttle people are sitting on tons of explosive rocket fuel. It wouldn't be me.

You'll have to give me the beret pattern. Lots of GB people are having babies this year! And I've been wanting to get back into fair isle.

Wow! I can't imagine having a stash that small. Once again I'm working on knitting only from stash.

My first digital camera was a Fuji Finepix. I loved until it started to fall apart.

You baby berets are so cute!! Beatles is precious with his car. Just like a boy, it doesn't matter that it's upside down.

I didn't get the adventure gene either! DH watches the NASA channel for hours and loves it but it bores me to tears.

Five skeins of untouched sock yarn???? Wow that is exercising major self control!!! We wont discuss how many skeins of sock yarn I have. I can't say they are untouched because I do like to pull them out and pet them occasionally.

and you had me LOLing with the nerves of steel comment. I agree, a 6 row repeat stresses me out as well, and I need to be sedated at this point to fly in a commercial plane. I have NO desire to fly in space. Meanwhile my dh would go in a heartbeat.
