Things I Learned This Week

*I can bake awesome chocolate chip cookies this way:
Buy Nestle premade cookie dough
Add flour to the pre made dough
Bake them beauties up and they won't flatten out.
They look homemade and they taste even better.

*No amount of Memory loss is normal when aging.
I learned this in the book Making Rounds With Oscar.
It made me sad for a certain beloved relative.

*I tasted a Korean tea : green tea and brown rice.
I may have imagined it, but I swear I could smell the carbs or
starch from the brown rice.

*Mole is good on tortilla chips.

*My new camera continues to take pictures just how I want them to come out.
Thanks Zach for helping out !

*and finally,
odds are good that the Russian Space Debris won't hit any of us or our knitting this weekend.!

Heads up friend!

Speaking of tortilla chips, I learned that the lime flavored ones are yummy!! I had never tried them before and now I'm craving them. Also craving chocolate chip cookies after reading your post--thank you very much. LOL

Nice snow pictures, Kathy! Lace weight yarn is scary, I agree! Definitely not relaxing at least IMHO. Time to head off to the grocery story; your post made me hungry. LOL

if you mix some toffe bits into that dough it will taste even more scrumptious

I've never thought of adding flour to the cookie dough. It's a brilliant idea!

I think I haven't had good mole sauce. I can't imagine I wouldn't love it... but I haven't liked what I have tried. Where do you get yours?
