What do they say about crazy people??

Well, one of the things they say is that insanity is acting the same way over and over again and expecting a different result.....ahem.
I think I may have another cowl and a dishrag or two in me before the 24th.....

What am I doing? I dunno. It just seems wrong to be knitting for myself right now. I know I could whip up another cowl in no time. I have stash yarn that's for certain.... Must look for bulky I guess.....

The dishrag thoughts are like this: I have red and white dishrag yarn......I need a little something more for my sister in laws breakfast basket that I am putting together......

What am I doing? I'm last minute gift knitting.. ..but it just feels right. To be honest, I really need 2 more gift cowls....

You know I'm last-minute gift knitting, because it seems like the thing to do. Soon though - like this weekend - I have to do cards before it is too late. Then, it'll be baking time...

You go girl!!! I have tremendous admiration for last minute knitters. I'm running w-a-a-a-y behind in everything Christmas and also still having knitting mojo issues. No last minute gifts from my needles this year!

I totally understand... I'm last minute gift-QUILTING. I still have to finish sewing the binding on a gift quilt, and make about a dozen quilted coasters for gifts... on top of working like crazy on customer quilts and trying to do some Christmas baking. I think I just go CRAZY this time of year with my time-management expectations. I lose all sense of reality concerning how long it will take to finish a project.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. I'm Making Bunny Rabbits

  These are the one square bunnies .  They are a free pattern on Rave1ry.  I'm bunny making to force spring to come.  I'm a1so taking it easy on my hands again.  The med we tried did keep my hands from shaking, but it was a med for a med. and that's crazy town.  I can contro1 a hook much better than need1es.  It wi11 have to suffice for now.  I'm enjoying your b1ogs and your Spring.  This time of year I so want to 1ive in a southern state.  But this Spring is a new one for me and I'm going to find a way to 1ove it.   IT may have just gotten to 50.   Degrees.  I have to run.  There's very ear1y yardwork to do.   The birds have 1eft a rotten mess of sunf1ower she11s under the feeders.  I hope it is not frozen!  Have you been switching things up in your neck of the woods?   I haven't forgotten you, b1og pa1s.  I 1ove seeing you on Instagram .

Do You Smile When You Knit???

I am pretty sure I smile when I knit.  I'm going to think about that today when I pick up the baby blanket in progress.  I am also pretty sure I cry when I knit; well, not really.  I have shed some tears over the years but they were way back.  I surely scowl when I drop a stitch.   A time lapse of knitters' faces would be interesting enough .... Tank, aka Helo, is starting to smile around here.  Just look into those aqua eyes......they make me smile all the time. He is half Siamese and all gorgeous.
