A Dishrag Christmas

Something compelled me to knit a dishcloth for my sister-in-law' s basket of goodies. A simple slip stitch dishrag. It is the Darrell Waltrop knitted cloth pattern. Fun, fast and furious that's the way around here currently. I'm using up the stash. Hoping for more from Santa, so I' have to make some room right??

We went to a Chicago neighborhood filled with lights tonight. One of our traditions . This little tree house was new to us this year, and adorable. I wish it would snow. I know I am in the minority here..but I need a little snow......for Christmas you know!

Don't you like a little snow with your Chrstmas dishrag???

Love the little house! Never too many lights, right?

No snow for us ... wouldn't THAT be interesting. LOL

The tree house is so cute and festive! I would like a little snow but that's not going to happen here. We are having plenty of rain though. Hardly rates a Ho HO HO!!

I just can't get into the Christmas spirit without snow! Last night, it THUNDERSTORMED here in Rochester... what a downer! One of my professors is using it as evidence of global warming.

If you count small, white patches on the lawn, then yes, I have snow on the ground.

Dishcloths are always a welcomed and appreciated gift.

I can support the call for snow! It better hurry up, too, because I leave for CA on Monday :)
