LIttle Yarn Crawl

Al took me to her local yarn shop. Wow. Windy Knitty is a great bright wonderfully stocked yarn store. The girls there were very nice. Why does buying new yarn make the whole day good?

I am going to knit Al's leggings in these two different yarns. Fair isle ahead! I'm very excited to get off size 2 needles....

But being the strictly monogamous uptight knitter that I am, I have a toe to finish on my current pair of socks before I can cast on.

What is ahead for you?

Three cheers for monogamous uptight knitters!! I wish I could be one also. My multiple projects get me into a world of hurt! Nothing ever seems to get done.

Love the yarn in sooooo pretty colors.

Can I have whatever medicine that you have taken to be a strictly uptight knitter? I'm usually very good about projects, but I can't stop casting on... what do I do!?

I love that shop's window. The pirate skeleton made me LOL!!!

What's up for me --- some nice, slow, relaxed knitting on my lace sock (maybe with a Starbuck's latte at my side).

Have a great weekend.

I've been mostly monogamous but I did cast on a pair of socks last weekend. I haven't got past the ribbing since I went back to working on the sweater.

I'm planning to dye yarn with my nephews and knit something special for them to give to their mothers this Christmas. I'm also going to make some triangle bags for knitting guild gifts so I have a pretty busy time ahead of me.

Love the L&D pumpkinscape and that PANK yarn!

A quiet night in is ahead with some almost monogamous knitting on my capelet and maybe the mohair cardi too.
