Joany's baby sweater inspires me. She is knitting it in Berocco Comfort and I guarantee it won't itch. I want to make one similar to it in pullover fashion. You know, I 'd avoid a button band and a v neck if I make a roll neck raglan.....

Meg's cabled top is Vogue inspired. Meg is a serious clothes knitter and she's darn good.



Carol is making this gorgeous shawl for herself. I am so thrilled it is for her. Her eyes are going to look so beautiful when she drapes this beauty around herself next spring on the beach.
Carol has me wanting to knit one for ME! When I decide to, remind me to use the exact yarn Carol is using, because it is perfect...and oops, I've forgotten the yarn name. It is a funny name...

I've casted on with Major Jennifers stash sale sock yarn. I was going to knit the leg of the sock in a pattern, but I failed miserably while trying to watch TV and follow a simple repeat....so everything I knit during TV time last night....was frogged this morning...

Has a fellow knitter shown you something you are just dying to try to knit up?

Oh yeah. There's this dog sweater that looks like mitered squares... I Rav-stalk several times daily.

I agree, that shawl is gorgeous! I am seriously tempted by Grace's latest Pi shawl to knit another one for myself. When I have knit Pi shawls in the past I feel like it is never going to end--around and around and around....

I love the shawl too. I've been knitting a some shawlettes lately. They go so quickly, and I like having a memorizable pattern.

all of the time, I love that shawl you showed today, I remember knitting one like it years ago as a gift, now I will have to add a redo to my list!!

OTN now, fingerless mitts cable and moss stitch for Christmas gift!

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. I did not see one shooting star last night.  I only got up for a few moments around 3 a.m.  The local weather guy said he saw a few quick faint ones.   3. I'm Making Bunny Rabbits

  These are the one square bunnies .  They are a free pattern on Rave1ry.  I'm bunny making to force spring to come.  I'm a1so taking it easy on my hands again.  The med we tried did keep my hands from shaking, but it was a med for a med. and that's crazy town.  I can contro1 a hook much better than need1es.  It wi11 have to suffice for now.  I'm enjoying your b1ogs and your Spring.  This time of year I so want to 1ive in a southern state.  But this Spring is a new one for me and I'm going to find a way to 1ove it.   IT may have just gotten to 50.   Degrees.  I have to run.  There's very ear1y yardwork to do.   The birds have 1eft a rotten mess of sunf1ower she11s under the feeders.  I hope it is not frozen!  Have you been switching things up in your neck of the woods?   I haven't forgotten you, b1og pa1s.  I 1ove seeing you on Instagram .

Do You Smile When You Knit???

I am pretty sure I smile when I knit.  I'm going to think about that today when I pick up the baby blanket in progress.  I am also pretty sure I cry when I knit; well, not really.  I have shed some tears over the years but they were way back.  I surely scowl when I drop a stitch.   A time lapse of knitters' faces would be interesting enough .... Tank, aka Helo, is starting to smile around here.  Just look into those aqua eyes......they make me smile all the time. He is half Siamese and all gorgeous.
