'nothing but knittin'

This ought to be a challenge.....

Nothing but knitting.. Okay here goes....

I had to buy some more square Kollage needles. I just am not an addi turbo fan.
Call me square. For you youngins, we used to say someone was square when they were
weird. I love these needles and they pick up stitches without being too slick.

The yarn was purchased with Donna B from Quiet Life in Verona, Wi. I love this yarn. It feels so soft and the colors seem regal to me. It is an easy knit. The Reclamation Shawl pattern, free on Ravelry. I have adjusted the pattern a bit. I only increase on the odd rows, because
I like a softer V in my shawls. Hope this works, I am freelancing here.....Someone let me know soon if I am headed for trouble here....

Beatles likes to chew on my yarn as I Knit at night. He has the feline yarn gene. I had to give him an old ball of leftover yarn to distract him from my work. It works about half the time. He's lucky he's so beloved

Sweet little Beatles is just doing what comes naturally. My son's new kitten Callie likes to suck on their couch and chair. They had to give her a towel instead and are trying to break her of the habit because of the amount of fiber she is swallowing.

The shawl is beautiful!

Beatles is SAVING you from that long, long snake that is trying to attack your hands.

Well, at least that is how HE sees it.

Our kitty did that as well - and I'm pretty sure she put some holes in my knitting! Loving your shawl!

I've never tried the square needles, but I've heard good things about them.

I love the addi lace needles but I also use the turbo needles.

I tried the Kollage needles, bought a pair at Stitches South to try them out, but I wasn't really impressed with them. I'm going to give them another try before I get rid of them.

I haven't tried the square needles yet but I am a fan of addi turbo. Ellie usually leaves my yarn alone but she does sniff at it. I think she likes to inspect everything, lol.

I haven't tried square needles. I love my Knit Picks Options.

Aren't we lucky to knit in an era where we have so many options?! I am not loyal to any brand, style, etc.

Gretchen has totally outgrown her fascination with yarn and will now wad up in my lap with knitting flowing around her. Good luck...

Thanks for talking about square needles. I've been trying to buy some for the longest time, but couldn't find any "yays" or "nays" about them.

Awww, Beatles!! K.C. used to chew on my yarn while I knit too - but I'm really lucky she's such an angel. I'd just say "No no!!" and she would stop. Now she doesn't even try - although she does stare longingly at the yarn while I knit it. (She really is the best behaved cat ever!!)

ohhhhh I am making that shawl too!!!Yours is gorgeous. Are you increasing on both sides every other row or only once, because then all your increases would be on one side only. That would be the only draw back!!!
