There's Good News and There's Bad News

The bad news is that Al got a library notice: the good news is she had to come over when she stopped at the library to pay her fine. (did I do good Donna B? The light was great that day)

The bad news is that the leaf bookmark isn't sewn up right; the good news is it was so easy and fast furious and fun to knit.

The bad news is I'm having a gum graft tomorrow; the good news is I have to have milkshakes.

The bad news is that today is the day we lost Huck 2 years ago; the good news is that we are adopting little Beatles today for however he long he shall live.

The bad news is the sun is setting sooner each evening; the good news is I adore all things autumn.

The bad news is my father's dear friend is in a nursing home now; the good news is he wanted ME to have all his old fishing tackle.....isnt' that sweet?

The little leaf is ADORABLE!

Good luck with your gum graft. Enjoy those milk shakes ... I'd go with the PEACH one first. ;-)

A whole lot of good and some not so good. Sorry to hear about the gum graft. I will be sending out prayers for your quick healing! The bookmark is so cute and such a good gift.

Ups and downs--that's life. Sometimes I just hope for life to not be quite so lively.

Your picture of Al is darling.

Now you can fish all dropped camera's out of Lake Minocqua, lickety split.

It's all good depending on how you look at it.

Al's haircut looks great.

I love Al's hair style. And that's too bad about the gum graft. It even sounds horrible. But, milkshakes? Oh, my...what's your favorite flavor, Kathyb?

When you have to have something as serious sounding as a gum graft, the milk shakes are calorie free. Right?
