Questions....

Found this gem of a book at our library yesterday. It is thick, full of great images and I want to try many of the patterns. This is an almost never for me! I'm choosey. I don't buy pattern books often. I'm cheap. I may end up purchasing it. Do you have your eye on a new pattern book?

or any new book?

I have four of the "One-Skein Wonder" books. Love them!!
I do have several new sock books on my wish list. I just can't seem to get enough of them even though it would take me 5 life times to knit all the socks I want.
And on a different note, I'm waiting for Wendy Johnson's new Lace book due out soon.

I have the stashbusting version of this book somewhere at my dad's I think - loved it!

I've been pretty bad with books lately. Two days ago I went out with W (my boyfriend) and ended up spending around $50 on books - all to be read before I go back to school! And they're not textbooks!

I, too, am cheap when it comes to buying knitting patterns ;) I do have my eye on a sock pattern book, though: "Knit. Sock. Love" by Cookie A. But, I just got a bunch of free patterns from the Loopy Ewe's blog so, I may have that urge quelled :)

I think I want Knit.Sock.Love., but I can't find it in any local stores to make sure I REALLY want it.

I have that one - and all the other one-skein books - and adore it. I'm on a knitting book diet. Luckily, my yarn shop owner friend breaks my fast for birthdays and Christmas. She finds the latest, greatest stuff I haven't even had time to want yet!

I'm trying to stop buying so many books in addition to yarn purchases. My most recent purchase was Knit! Swirl and I've misplaced it some where. It's definitely worth checking out.

I have 101 Designer 1 Skein Wonders and it is also a good book.

I ALWAYS have my eye on some type of book... it's the teacher in me. I have that particular book, and I LOVE it! Great eye-candy! I haven't had time to make anything from it yet (I'm too stuck on socks), but when I get a chance to do something different I will pick something from here. I purchased it because I bought some sock yarn that I later discovered I was not crazy about because of the way it pools. My solution... use the yarn to make something else from this book... when I get a chance. Those are "oft-spoken" words from me.

I have that book, and two of it's cousins, too. As to an eye out for something new, I'm trying very hard not to look! La, la, la, la...I can't see you....
