Workend Wrap Up...

I've decided to call the end of the week my workends. Time to head to work tonight and put my Nurse hat on. What a week is was at our house:

*Power was out from Tuesday night's storm to Friday afternoon... Yes, I am done feeling Amish.

*Zach was home a few nighs......so great to see him

*I went to Franklin Habit's photography class at Midwest Folk and Fiber yesterday.
He kept my attention for 3 hours. I vow to follow his advice and bring you better
images on the blog.

*Went to Ravinia and heard KD Lang and the Sis Boom Bang with neighbors Thursday night.

*On Thursday I got bit by a cat named BOB, at the shelter. I also cut myself prepping bagels on the same finger as the bite. Why is this relevant?
Well, over at Handeyecrafts.wordpress.com I was honored to be mentioned. K. kindly wrote some
sweet things about me and listed St. Vitus the saint of dancers as the saint she'd pick to protect me.
I investigated this a bit. Seems this Saint protects from lightening strikes, animal bites and oversleeping. Considering the storm, the cat bite and the ever present need to nap...this IS my Saint.....
K. didnt even know about my week when she picked this Saint. Ahhhh Serendipity.

I'll leave you with something Franklin said yesterday, "Your eye is a miracle." I agree

I would love to take a photography class from Franklin. One of my guild members is a professional photographer for the University of South Carolina. Maybe I can talk her into giving us some lessons.

Glad to know you weathered the storm. Even though the power was out most of the week,I guess it's a good thing it didn't happen in the middle of winter.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. I did not see one shooting star last night.  I only got up for a few moments around 3 a.m.  The local weather guy said he saw a few quick faint ones.   3. I'm Making Bunny Rabbits

  These are the one square bunnies .  They are a free pattern on Rave1ry.  I'm bunny making to force spring to come.  I'm a1so taking it easy on my hands again.  The med we tried did keep my hands from shaking, but it was a med for a med. and that's crazy town.  I can contro1 a hook much better than need1es.  It wi11 have to suffice for now.  I'm enjoying your b1ogs and your Spring.  This time of year I so want to 1ive in a southern state.  But this Spring is a new one for me and I'm going to find a way to 1ove it.   IT may have just gotten to 50.   Degrees.  I have to run.  There's very ear1y yardwork to do.   The birds have 1eft a rotten mess of sunf1ower she11s under the feeders.  I hope it is not frozen!  Have you been switching things up in your neck of the woods?   I haven't forgotten you, b1og pa1s.  I 1ove seeing you on Instagram .

Do You Smile When You Knit???

I am pretty sure I smile when I knit.  I'm going to think about that today when I pick up the baby blanket in progress.  I am also pretty sure I cry when I knit; well, not really.  I have shed some tears over the years but they were way back.  I surely scowl when I drop a stitch.   A time lapse of knitters' faces would be interesting enough .... Tank, aka Helo, is starting to smile around here.  Just look into those aqua eyes......they make me smile all the time. He is half Siamese and all gorgeous.
