Meet Fuster

I awoke from my post work slumber to a box from Major Jennifer...just because!!!!

MajorKnitter and I have been pretend and real friends for awhile now. She's a go getter, as my dad would say. She's an organized and amazingly productive person! And she's an accomplished knitter. Go over to her blog for a fun treat anyday. Jennifer keeps it light, as I try to do here at irisheyes.

Jennifer felt the need to send me knit treats! Meet Fuster. I named her that. She's one of many knit chickens that have emerged at Jennifer's house. Fireman taught me the nasty phrase that is simliar to fuster cluck. When he describes a call that went amuck, he uses this phrase. It is one of my favorites. Having practiced things at work over and over and over, you still cannot predict how life will go when you get a nasty situation in front of you. Sometimes it is a real fuster cluck and sheer fate takes over.

She sent this beautiful bag from : Fibers Entwined an Esty store.
The yarn is silk and won't itch me! Blues are always my favorite color!
THe little stitch markers are so cheerful.
And the chocolate...I think knit friends make the chocolate world go round!

So Fuster will grace the blog page everyday now on the right! Cluck cluck cluck

Carol and I drove by your house on the way to Grandpa's and saw that package on your doorstep. We both agreed it had something knitting related in it! Must know the phrase Fireman taught you that is close to Fuster cluck:0

I'm SO naming our next male dog Fuster. Because that same phrase - you know... the one Fireman brought home? - is SO much a part of our vernacular!

Wonderful surprise package. You are a lucky duck, or maybe I should say chick. Fuster is so cute and I love the phrase. I know the one the firemen use all too well!

Can't wait to see what you make from that beautiful silk yarn.

Lucky you getting a care package from Jennifer - she is a sweetheart! I'm so glad she sent you one of her hens...I haven't seen them in person yet but she was on a huge tear making them.
