A Beautiful day for a.

*walk! My Pedometer was over 5000 when I accidentally reset it.....oops. My walk was much lighter than yesterday. One day difference between a down coat, fingerless mitts, a cowl and a hat. Today I just wore my favorite sweatshirt: FIND LOVE ADOPT.

*Royal Wedding. She looked beautiful, I thought.

*knitting appointment with my new yarn! Barking Dog Yarns colorway: Haven. 100% merino. 8 ply. Subtle colors/ greys and lavendars....

*kitten or two. Carter and Noah are growing and more adorable all the time...somehow...
They romp and roll and play together until they are so worn out they collapse together. This has been so fun. Coming to an end, next week. They will probably be big enough to get spay/neutered and adopted out!

*Ballgame. Hope better spring eternal. Things are mighty awful for the Cubs lately.

*nap with the window open

*a COMMENT! (sneaky I know)

What is beautiful about your day?

Gorgeous yarn and a very pretty yellow tree too.

Sounds like you had a good day!

Snow fell here today, so fleece coats and fingerless mitts are still necessary. Where is Spring?

From your comment on my blog --- which yarn did you want to know the price on ...

The Shenanigans was $26.00

The Heart & Sole was $5.99 each and you need 2 skeins to make a pair.

I have some BD yarn, too; she has nice stuff. We had a good walk today also, for once with no umbrellas!

I thought she was lovely, but honestly? I only watched long enough to see the horses and carriages.

It was cooler here again today.

Mixed blessing that the kittens are growing up so fast!

Kate was timeless like Grace Kelly! I loved her dress.

What was beautiful about my day? I spent the day with Royalty and knitting. Now I'm going to bed feeling totally relaxed and happy.

Barking Dog Yarns--what a wonderful name!

Queen's Day here in The Netherlands today - starts sunny, so that is good ;-)

Have to put something new on the needles... might be fun ;-)

What are you going to make with the pretty ball of yarn?

I like the color. Yup! Couldn't miss the wedding even though I was so tired the next day.
