Thoughts for today.....

*Sunset on Tuesday 3.1.11
*Poster I Love: This house runs on love, laughter and strong coffee
*I am knitting the Really Simple Shawlette with the swap sock yarn I posted
and said I would make socks out of.....ahhhh perogative...
*I hate Lent but I love Fat Tuesday
*I am also knitting my Mirror Mirror vest. I have the back and a good
portion of the front done as well......
*I also have a tie for Zach on the needles. I am knitting it out of the
sock yarn that Marguerite put in Take and Replace
*I read this quote last weekend and loved it : God is in the reality of our
lives, not the fantasy of our lives.

Have you read a new quote that rang true with you lately?

Beautiful photo. I still have to figure out what I'm going to do about Lent. The last two years, instead of giving something up, I've added a daily Lenten devotional.

I don't know who said it but one of my favorite quotes is, "Keep trying and you might stumble on success."

Glad you let the sock yarn tell you what it wanted to be!

what and where did the Frogging item come from I LOVE IT, the other day there was a great DR> Suess quote I need to go back and find it, and come back and share it with you!!

In my old town I went to daily mass every weekday during Lent, but I haven't felt the love at the church here yet and its too far to drive back to the old one!

"I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!"

We have a sign in our kitchen: "Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused".

THe Dr. Suess quote is just wonderful! The froggin bag came directly from marguerite who also knit the socks for me. She was the last stop before me and she took it to heart for sure!
