The prize yarn I won....and a pregnancy pen......

This is the awesome STR yarn that I won recently. Oh it is so pretty. I just can't decide what it will be.....another small shawlette? A pair of socks.?? Another tie....one for fireman???I just don't know, dont you know!

Don't you just love the pregnancy pen I got at the March Of Dimes conference last week? It was quickly given to my nephew's wife who is 14 weeks with her second baby!!! Al has me totally hooked watching Lifetimes' s One Born Every Minute....you'd think I would get enough at work you know? Do you watch it???

I simply could not be a Labor and Delivery nurse. They are saints and angels. I had this weird thought yesterday...
can you imagine being a nurse and spending your whole career with MEN who had crotch pain??? No one would sign up for that!!!! No wonder God only lets women have babies..

That girl that wanted to update her Facebook status before pushing really irritated me. She's going to be texting while she is supposed to be caring for her baby. Terrible.

I can't imagine being a nurse or doctor treating men for anything!! They are such babies--but lovable babies.

I love the sock yarn. Gorgeous colors! Anything you make with it will be beautiful.

Also love the gnomes!! Are those Grace gnomes?

Most men never learned what all mothers know - it's possible to carry on even when sick and in pain. Maybe even when one has a cold.:-)

Love the new header even though I'm sorry to see the frogs are gone. Still, it's that GREEN time of year and I understand.

The yarn is gorgeous. Why don't you start a new take and replace box, put the yarn in it, put my name first on the list, and see if the yarn comes back to you?

I wanted to be a L&D nurse until I saw my first preemie baby in an incubator and knew right then I couldn't do it. I also wanted to be a vet until our family pet needed to be put to sleep. This is why I worked in an office!!!! LOL
