Want to see me turn this ball of yarn into socks?

I still think it is magical...what we knitters do....
This ball of yarn was a prize in a contest I entered awhile ago... more on the yarn when I work some magic with it....

I was delighted to beat the post office by nearly 3 dollars with my latest 4.95 USPS box. I put a little yarn gifty in the box and a bag of ......
dark chocolate Hersey kisses. Got that little box nice and heavy.......it would have been nearly 8 dollars if I didnt use the flat rate box. Oh joy. Plus I would have paid for some sort of packaging....can we call it 4 dollars now? This frugal irisheyed Hungarian American loves a bargain!

If you are looking for something creative to do with your Valentine roses. ahem,
P. Allen Smith's Gardening Website gives you step by steps for making beads from rose petals. ........
I wont' be doing this, but I'll just bet one of you tries it or has tried it.

Have you seen the Love cards by Hallmark that have sketch of a skein of yarn on the cover.....I have
and I bought them. I'll bet one of you has also!

My diamond ring is a heart. I'll bet one of you has a heart shaped diamond too......

anyone ? Anyone? xoxo

Think the Knight would want to take me to Hallmark NOW - while it's snowing, AGAIN?

I saw the directions for making beads from roses. I also have a bouquet of dying roses on the table. It just looks like too much trouble to make them into anything other than potpourri.

I'll look for the cards.

No diamond ring for me. Just a simple golden ring ;-) But this marriage is going to have its 21st anniversary on the 21st.

Your prize yarn is a beautiful color. Look forward to seeing the socks!

Congrats on beating USPS. They so deserve it!

Looking for the love cards.

No heart shaped diamonds but the first thing DH gave me (in high school) was a gold heart-shaped locket that I still wear.
