Oh no, they are here

Thin mints. Girl Scout thin mints. I hope I can go the night without opening the box. If Zach wants to share one with me tomorrow ....then I'll get one. Why are these cookies so good, when they are frozen and I can have them with a glass of milk?

Are your girl scout cookies here yet?
Which Olympic event are you drawn to so far?
Did you buy a book from Knitpicks 40% off sale? (I did, for a gift)
Do you like the mint green chairs on the sitting area with Bob Costas?
Are you expecting yarn this week?
Are you starting a knit, finishing a knit or frogging a knit?

I am in a questioning mood.....

Which Olympic event are you drawn to so far? The sleeping one, my eyes can't stay open long enough to focus
Did you buy a book from Knitpicks 40% off sale? (I did, for a gift) No I missed that
Do you like the mint green chairs on the sitting area with Bob Costas? I don't think I would
Are you expecting yarn this week? I heard I won some yarn this week but when it will arrive I don't know
Are you starting a knit, finishing a knit or frogging a knit? All of the above, I am hoping to finish my big huge blanket, I am frogging my Gracie Shawl, and I want to start brangan---or another Shoshie (my way) maybe tomorrow.

No Girl Scout cookies here yet but I can just taste those thin mints! I am hypnotized by Apolo Ohno speed skating. I can't get enough of it. I recorded it and keep playing it back during commercials.

Girl scout cookies are not available here... LOL!

Ice speed skating is interesting. Sven Kramer got gold on the 5000 m, and hopefully more to come.

Knitpicks...their books are indeed interesting. But they only deliver on the North American continent.

Expecting yarn? I wish.... LOL! Would be a great birthday surprise though.

I am working on.... a sweater, and a pair of socks! I had to frog the collar on the sweater - had to make it wider

Oh no! is right. Ares should be here very soon. My oldest just said to me "Mom, you know what we haven't bought in a long time? Thin Mints" So cute. Doesn't he know they're only sold once a year? They're best when stored in the freezer. Yum.

Bianca! I am so sorry to tempt you. Of course you cannot get them there........I'll have one for you!

Our cookies are not here yet, but that's okay, because we still have half a sleeve of thin mints in the freezer.

I'm into whatever they're broadcasting right now when it comes to the Olympics. I don't think there's a winter event I don't like.

I am on a knitting book diet. (So no...)

Mint green is one of the few shades of green I don't like.

I am not expecting yarn this week, but it's early yet.

I rambled enough about the project I'm not supposed to talk about in another comment box today, so I'll let that go... but yeah, I'm trying to start a project!

Haven't seen a single girl hawking them yet, but since my daughter was 22 last week, I don't travel in those circles as much. Oh how I love the thin mints.

I've been searching for Girl Scouts!! I'm on my last box of thin mints from last year! I stock up and keep them in the freezer. Love a frozen thin mint!
I love the winter olympics. I am drawn to all of it and lose sleep trying to keep up with it all.
I did buy a book. The Knitter's Book of Wool A gift for myself.
And I wish I was expecting yarn. I've been very tempted but as I'm suppose to be on a yarn diet, I have (so far) resisted.

No, because I didn't order any. (Safer that way.)

Figure Skating, of course.

No more knitting books for me - I need to start using the ones I have. I tend to print on-line patterns instead of going to my books.

I didn't notice the mint green chairs, but they sound ugly. I'll look for them tonight.

No again - no more yarn until I knit a ton of what I have!!!!

I need to finish the USA Olympic Team Knock-Off Hat. And the prayer shawl for my aunt. And start and finish the chemo cap for her. And finish the socks I've been knittig since the summer. Phew!!

Have you ever noticed how GS cookies arrive after the holiday eating binge? Worst timing ever! I LOVE thin mints...my godmother used to stash them in the freezer. They are delicious frozen!

I just ordered some yarn from Webs and have a project to finish before casting on a new one. My olympic goal is to finish this one sweater before starting anything else.

You all have such Olympic goals! Mine is more of a little league goal: keep knititng my socks and using the lovely sock yarns I have.

We both love thin mints. Can eat a whole box in a sitting.

We were watching skiing and skating, but had to take two days off for the dog show.

I have a knitting project I want to start, but can't seem to get started.

Check out Dogs-N-More to see your boy.

The girl scout I bought my cookies from went away for the week and I will have to wait until next week for my thin mints. And I do eat them right out of the freezer.
No to Knitpicks book and mint green chairs.
I watch the curling.
I have received one order of yarn this week and am expecting another one.
And I am finishing a child's hat and will be starting another one.
Happy Knitting to all!

Thin mints are my absolute favorites too... though trying not to buy any this year. I love the skating, though I haven't watched much this time. No, I went and bought a book on container gardening instead... and the SF Ferry Building Farmers Market cookbook, for the photos of the veggies and fruit (and the recipes). I am anxiously awaiting yarn from KP to make a flower petal hat for the darling grandbaby... she has outgrown her 'birth' hat. I am totally about finishing this week... just finished the Mendocino vest last night and have been working on my Ulmus shawl from last spring so that I can get to the lovely, lacy edging.

Thin Mints are my favorites! I ordered only one box here at school, but then my granddaughter asked me to buy some so..... I bought five more boxes. Only one has been opened.

So far.
