Rescued by a lurker

You are not bored silly with my sock progress thanks to Karen the lurker. She is letting me show her toe up Cloverleaf socks. She doesn't have much left to finish them. I had to show the cat bag too. You may be bored silly with my feline fad lately, but they are really cute. Thanks Karen.

My sock is coming along......
I have a cable question for all of you. When I knit the cable cross the stitches are tight when they get back on the needles. Aside from playing my Chanting Monks CD and breathing deeply, how can I loosen up? I am normally a loose knitter. Will I loosen up with time? Did you have this issue with tiny needles and cables?

Today's dinner: Frozen california pizza kitchen bbq chicken pizza. Too cold to be motivated to go out and eat or carry out.

I talk more in the comments!

Well Grace, I never even imagined a hot pot roast sandwich, FIreman says we have to try this! MMMMM. great idea.
I think once you get use to the smaller needles you will loosen up.
I love the color of that sock and the cat bag is so pretty:)Hugs Darcy

Hmmm cables too tight? Mine are always too loose. Between the two of us we should be able to figure out the perfect solution!

That is a handsome sock. Good work Karen!

We planned to go to a (free) concert last night in NJ. We figured that no one else would go since it was frigid out. HA HA HA. The place was packed and some people couldn't get seats. My husband and I got the last two seats next to a woman who crinkled her chip bag, and texted all through the concert whenever she wasn't snoozing half across me. I really could not believe her or her companion who kept saying things to her aloud. At the end, he complained that people kept shushing him "like it was high mass or the White House" and "afterall" he said, they were just practicing (not true - this is a professional group that donates an annual concert in town)

My one big disappointment was that it was so crowded that I could not sit in the back and knit while I was enjoying the chamber music. My favorite way to knit!

I've not done "real" cables on socks, so I can't offer technical help, but I can tell you that even those allergic to cats enjoy your feline "craze" of late! ;)

Well, when I have knit cables with #1 needles, I have broken them. or bent them. No help here! Sorry Kathy B.
