Time for Rules at the kathy b house

*Now that the house is clean, if anyone uses the downstairs bathroom before Christmas afternoon, when guests arrive,
well Heaven help them.

*Eat whatever you want. Guiltless. It is okay.

*Sometimes Santa gives you a present you didn't know you wanted! Surprises are fun.

*If one relative won't play the Christmas game, play it anyhow with everyone else. Let him pout .

* It is nobody's last meal. Enjoy whatever you serve and don't worry about everyone's likes and dislikes.

*If you don't get yarn from Santa, buy yourself some!

*Don't skimp on your naps.

and finally,

*Turn off all news until after the holidays. Think Positive. If you must watch for the weather
turn the news on at quarter past the hour. Let me know if you try this one. I find it so mind clearing.
I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

Sounds like a very happy Christmas happening at your house. Cleaning bathrooms in preparation for guests--me too. Filling the fridge with food for everyone--me too. Taking naps--me too. Buying yarn--is there any doubt?

I agree about the news! I have stopped watching and listening for now while there are so many things going on that make me unhappy. We have stacked up a bunch of movies to watch. Something for everyone.

Hope your Christmas is super delightful and happy!!

They sound like great rules to me. Of course here we have to add one, don't jump on guests with your muddy paws.

Hi Kathy, thanks for dropping by. It was so sweet of you to visit. These "rules" would make a great gift plaque. My favorite is "Eat whatever you want. Guiltless. It is okay."

Have a wonderful Christmas!!!

AFter the week Tom and I have had with his work we shut his cell phone off and that is it until Monday,

The mail can stay in the box until Monday--its safe under lock and key so I am not going to let the outside world do any more damage!!

Merry Christmas!!! Oh how I love your rules! I read the one about Santa and the yarn to Pea . . . to which he replied "Oh no, I didn't get you any yarnies". It's okay, he spoiled me rotten!! :) Hope Santa spoiled you too!
