One thought leads to another

Katherine of blog.knittingonthego sent me a treat yesterday. What a pick me up. Guess what? I am going to knit Lace because of the Pacific pattern she hooked me with! (Grace and other lacers, have you knit this before?)

Such a contrast! This Pacific lace pattern from Katherine (Chicago Transplant to Texas!) and I have icicles on my hydrangea bush.

Can we talk about this peanut butter business? I'm absolutely craving it.....just because I can't have it. Are you? What are mothers feeding their picky eaters? Are you using a subsitute? In all seriousness, those who got sick and those who died have my most sincere sympathies. Which leads me to another thought: flip though it is: What is going to happen to the Girl Scout cookies with the peanut butter in them? Thank goodness there isn't a thin mint contamination......

Carol my wonderful OT took great care of my arm again today. We talked Pillows. We talked how to knit without stressing my tendon using pillows. It is all about the pillows. Just like when I teach mothers how to nurse their infants. It is all in the pillows.

What kind of pillow do you rest your head on? A feather pillow, a fiber pillow, a memory foam pillow? There is a pillow sale and I am shopping. I wont even tell you how old my current pillows are. Somehow this connects to knitting.

Because Carol my OT says "It is all connnected!" all the time.
I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

Don't worry -- you can still have peanut butter from jars. It's peanut butter paste that's used in cookies and crackers that's the problem. Enjoy!

My gurus tell me that "it's all connected" all the time. They repeatedly keep telling me how much I would benefit from regular yoga classe. Hmmmm. There might be something in that.

I sleep on two allerg-free pillows. Bad, bad reflux, even with medication sometimes.

I also nominated you for a Kreativ Blogger award.

So glad to see you are going to tackle Pacific Islands! I really want to try it but I flunked a lace KAL once and have been scared of lace since.

Peanut butter? I'm glad it's not one of my cravings. A chocolate crisis would hit me hard!

I use a polyfill pillow. Not chic but cheap.

The pacific waves lace is gorgeous!
I have 2 toddlers and they want a pb&j and my hubby wont let me make them one he threw out the peanut butter he is pretty scared of this contamination thing. This will be my last comment for awhile since I will be having surgery Monday. When I come back I will be looking forward to seeing your lace project. My first lace project took me 4 months to complete. I had figured out I got an inch for every 2 hours spent knitting on it but man the scarf was gorgeous and Grace loved it so Iam excitted for you and this project:)((((Hugs ))))Darcy

I must go look into this PB contamination. I love PB!

Pacific Islands look like a beautiful pattern. I've found using lots of stitch markers helps with my lace knitting (not that I've knitted lace in a long time!)

The ones we like best are ancient - the one we fight over has been around for at least 20 years. The cats love the boppy!

My youngest grandson is allergic to peanuts so nobody in the family has anything peanut butter in their houses. Nutella is a wonderful substitute.

I used a memory foam pillow for years, but it died and was giving me headaches. I noticed that when I traveled and used well-made polyfill pillows I didn't get a headache. So I got myself to Costco and bought a pair of nice poly pillows. I've been pretty happy with them.
