Fingerless #1

Why do fingerless look better when someone is wearing them? I think the same of socks. So I'll be reposting these newbies in a better way later. I really just wanted to show the beautiful tones in this colorway. Major Jennifer of MajorKnitter brought this koigu when she visited me downtown last summer.

I made some granola this weekend. My sister's way. She adds little green pumpkin seeds and coconut to her mix. What do you add to your granola recipe?

I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

They are so pretty, but I agree, they always look better modeled. So, did MajorKnitter tell you about the huge wall of Koigu at our LYS? Awesome sight - one you really need to come to CT and see for yourself. :)

Your granola sounds yummy - wish I had some for breakfast this morning. I haven't made my own granola yet, but when I do, I'll let you know what I put in. I'm thinking sunflower seeds. Yummy.

Love the mitts (on or off the hand). Beautiful colors! I add chopped walnuts to my granola and sometimes candied pineapple. I have to get the sugar in there somehow!

I usually put oats, pumpkin nuts, sunflower seeds, honey, a bit of canola oil, sometimes coconut, sometimes maple syrup instead of the honey, pecans, almonds, the kitchen sink.... I don't put fruit in until I'm ready to eat it-the fruit tends to dry out otherwise. I just found out I'm gluten-intolerant so now I have to shift gears on the oats and find another grain that works and tastes good.

I've never made granola, but would like to find a good recipe. Adding seeds and coconut sounds like a great idea.

I don't like granola. Here it is called Muesli... rather eat a slice of bread instead. Love the colour of the FG's :-)

Great colourway for the wristwarmers.

I'm sorry I haven't got a granola recipe to share - I'm not much of a breakfast person. Coffee - a must, everything else, if I have the time.

I like the mitts- the colors really pop!

I have to admit, I buy my granola- I have never made it! The kind I get has dried apples in it. Yum.
