Al's knitting a late birthday gift for her brother.

Yarn : Debbie Bliss Merino KD
Making up the pattern. If anyone likes it she'll write it down. Someday.

Al is re reading And the Band Played On, about the AIDS epidemic and how it was discovered. Simple reading you know, while she knits simultaneously. Kudos to all of you who read and knit at the same time. For me, this means one thing, dropped stitches.

We are having a blizzard tonight. NIghts like this I wish I had 3 dogs. DO you ever wish you had 3 dogs?

I hear my Favorite LYS is moving to its new location. I hope this means a sale. A big sale! I'll letcha know.
I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

Really pretty Al. I'm also a reading while knitting type (including technical literature). I didn't know that was unusual since I've done it all my life, until someone came into my office recently and saw me knitting and asked whether I was taking a break. I was really surprised since I was concentrating really hard on something I was reading.

The non-knitter asked how I could possibly knit a complex stitch and read something that took concentration at the same time - well the answer is - I dunno! I guess they work on opposite sides of the brain.

My yarn just arrive (or rather, I just got home from work after 10pm to find it waiting for me). Thanks so much, and thanks also to Bianca!

I do have three dogs and three dogs is too many.

We used to have a rule: The dogs in the house can't outnumber the people. We broke the rule.

We love all three of our dogs and all three are important family members. I couldn't pick one to give away.

But, three dogs are very expensive and time consuming. And I only have two leash hands and two sides to sit next to. We probably will never have his many dogs again.
I have one cat and your project looks wonderful:)Hugs Darcy

Did you know that your LYS has a Ravelry group?

@Elaine: My pleasure ;-)

@Al: Your knitwork is looking good! I like it.
We have two dogs and that's enough for me.

The yarn arrived yesterday and it's just beautiful. Thank you!

I have trouble knitting and watching TV, reading would be impossible. Bravo Al!! A three dog night? You are so funny!

I never wish that I have 3 dogs, we have two and that is enough (and 3 cats). My husband wanted to get me a chinese pug to go along with the Dalmation and Chihuahua and I hade to say "NO!"

Sometimes I wish we had 3 dogs... it would be much easier (and cheaper) than the 10 we do have! But we love them all and can't really imagine only having a small handful of pups. Not to mention the other critters... horses, cats, etc.

Honey I have 4 dogs and a hubby. When you let any of them in the bed with the hubby, there is no room for me. :o} Hope the dog keeps you warm. g
