Random Blog Thoughts (after a good walk )

Huck and I took a good walk just now. He loves this cold weather. I decided on my next hat pattern during the walk. I also decided that I am going to buy a new coat that is down and black. Then ANY handknits will go well with the black.

Yes that was a revelation to me.

This is my yard right now. I think it looks better now than it did all summer.

I read they have solar Christmas lights. What a concept. No bulb failure/string failure, no turning lights off and on. Do you already have these?

Huck eats more antioxidants than I do. He also gets glucosamine and chondroiton. My knit wrists are a bit tight lately. He also gets probiotics because Fireman gives him the empty yogurt cup to finish off every morning. He naps more than I do too. IM glad he has such a good life.

THe cats are on the radiators again, because Fireman says we have to turn the heat on. When we kept it cold they sat on my lap more.

I have a bit of an Antique Roadshow find going on. Just a bit. I'll tell you about it soon. If only I could get the Kino tiwins to look at my find!

I'm ready to rent a good comedy. Zach tells me to get Walle, the robot movie. Has anyone seen it?

If you want to see really really young guys making big bucks, watch the new Chicago Blackhawks. They are sooooooo young!

Oh the Bears. I love Lovey.

I had a beef bologani sandwich just now. I haven't had a boloogna sandwich in about 40 years. I am not pregnant. It was so delicious. I think I did it because I am so sick of turkey and chicken sandwiches that I needed a change. Huck got a piece of bologna too.

Fireman just said, "Do you realize Barack Obama will be on a coin someday?" I hadn't.

I told you this was a random thought post. Have a great day.

Heh. I just bought a new parka that's black for that very reason!

Love your random thoughts post. Love your yard. Love to hear about Huck. Don't like bologna. ;)

The Black Hawks are fun to watch! I'm happy for hockey season --me and football? Not so much. Had a great time at Wall-E. None of the kids I went with/took knew what a Twinkie was, so that joke was lost on them...
Now I want a bologna sandwich and I'm not pregnant either.

Haven't eaten bologna in many years. Sounds delish! Love the Bears and sooooooo prefer them to the Cowboys. Huck is a wise doggy. Give him smoochies from Macy. Obama on a coin....

How about some fried bologna? It's a southern thing.

Come to think of it all of my winter coats are dark. Black, navy and grey and I still haven't knitted the scarves and hats to got with them.

Wall-E is a fantastic movie. It's a little heavy handed on the "message." But overall, it's very sweet.

Huck has a good life.

I too will eat a bologna sandwich once every 40 years or so, but then what do you do with the rest of the package? I don't normally eat sandwiches.

I think I can knit a pretty hat. I like to try and keep one on the go and I love that you are donating them locally - well to you anyway :) g
