Gift bookmark from leftovers

I fell in love with the Simpleknits.blogspot.com 653 patterns to knit with one to 285 yards of yarn. The bookmark pattern was too cute not to try. My friend Eileen, will enjoy it this Christmas. There are many many cute ideas that I will try from this extensive list. If you haven't ever seen the list, enjoy it! I spent an evening getting ideas.

Oh I love to use up leftover sock yarns. :)

I plan to bring my sister's cowl/scarf knitting to the polling place today when my new 18 year old voter gets home from work and school. Will you knit in line or watching the results?

I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

Today was my first time, as well! ^_^ Well... Besides the primaries... Fortunately I didn't have a long wait at all.

It is a great site and I saved it, but which bookmark is it? Inquiring minds need to know!

Oh dear. I cannot find it either this morning. But here's the deal. I cast on 24 stitches on sockyarn, divided 6, 12,6 . I knit a 2x2 rib about 10 rows, then knit the leg until it fit inside a book, then did the little flap, heel turn, gusset and foot, toe. If you need specifics on the little heel turn etc. Let me know. I followed a sockkeychain pattern for the heel turn etc.

That bookmark is so cute! Thanks for the site info. I was knitting last night but didn't watch voting info because I didn't want to be stressed or disappointed. Good thing!
