What do get when you mix old leftover sock yarns?

You get Left-Over socks of course. I'll post my pattern soon! (thanks for all the shared leftovers!!!! I think another reason we like them, is of course, there is more time to knit when you only have to reheat or recreate leftovers) What a quick way to stash bust.

Did anyone notice that for a few posts in a row, there, I used titles that all began with C...U...B...S. It was my sublimineal message to all. Oh it is okay. We are so accostomed to not getting into the World Series we know how to handle it. In a way it is easier just because we have done this soooooo many times, we know life goes on.

Okay, on to gift knits. Is grey or charcoal the ultimate safe color to give ANYone? Or is it another color???

I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

I am smitten with your Left-over Socks and already eyeing all the left-overs in my stash. Pattern please! As for gift colors, I believe the brighter the better. Why be safe when you can be, u-m-m-m-m crazy?

Those socks are so cute!! What a great use for Leftovers!!! Hmmm, I'd say blue is usually a pretty safe color for gifts too - who doesn't like blue?

Yeah, I go with blue, too. Or whatever the recipient really likes. Like my sister who loves All Things Flag, who got the flag socks.

Good times.
I didn't catch your subliminal message--very clever. Wish it would have worked.

Love the way the socks are turning out. Good use of left overs.

I think blue is a color most people like.

I love the leftover socks. it'll look great.

I know I'm strange, but I love grey and charcoal, so I'll be happy with it. I think it's hard choosing a colour for someone else, it would depend on what they like.

You are a genious! A sock knitting genious! Why didn't I think of that? And of course, all of our leftover yarns would look good together, because we love all of our yarns!
