Kim Hargraves Rowan Beau

I've had a rough go at trying to photograph this sweater back. Al is making it for a gift. I give you the textured version. You can make out the ridges going up the back to the chest part where it changes to checkerboard. Her goal is to finish this by the winter holidays.

Some thoughts today:

*I think I am moving on after 4 cowls. (readers breathe sigh of relief)

*Cable bug biting again. (also mosquitos)

*knitting interrupted this week, mostly due to my own inability to concentrate.

*knitting interrupted does not mean no knitting this week, just lots of interruptions.

*Two current on the needles projects: other confetti sock and Nonni throw.

*taking on the moods of others around me, this week. Must stop this.

*wee tiny bite fad over....

*weaniing off coffee creamer......not off yet!

*posting about posts. I cannot seem to find post earrings that a pretty anywhere.

*Bring back the post. Enough of the drop earrings already.

*let the maid go after 8 years. We both cried!
I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

No more Marta? I know you will miss her!

Have you tried looking on Etsy for earrings?

Really? No more coffee creamer? I've been thinking about that myself (my thoughts include replacing it with milk and homemade vanilla syrup).

I'm sorry to hear about Marta. That sounds like a very tough transition for everyone. *Hugs*
I know what you mean about the posts. Pretty much diamond studs are the nice post earrings to be found.

Invest in some pretty diamond studs and wear them everyday! Chic! Sorry about the maid. That's a tough decision to make after 8 years!

Nobody should let go of their maid *and* go off coffee creamer at the same time. That's just torture. Why don't you send her to my house? I most definitely need a maid. There's no shortage of disgusting house cleaning to do here.

I hear you about the maid - mine decided to go back to college and we shed a lot of tears.

Beau looks great - I'd like to knit one too.
